I had the opportunity to be at the Magic Kingdom today for the final performance of Cinderellabration. A lot of former cast of the show over the last year and a half were all up front chearing the performers on throughout their final show. I took a bunch of shots and though I shared a few.

Just wanted to comment - for their part, the cast of the show did a wonderful job given what they had to work with. It just wasn't a well written show.

I hope they will let us walk through the castle completely again.

How so? Between shows you could see the murals and all, just a section was closed off for prop storage and all, nothing major... There is going to be construction ongoing until the new Suite opens in the castle. They're building a new entrance to the castle for it, a breezeway.

Some details have been released about the Royal Bedchamber suite in Cinderella Castle which will be awarded to guests for an overnight stay at the Magic Kingdom as part of the Years of a Million Dreams.

A new entrance is being constructed, where guests will be greeted by a bellman who will escort them up to the suite by a an elevator. The room is 650 square feet, and plans to sleep 4-6 people, offering video games and wireless internet access.

The general design is to recreate a realistic castle interior with stonework, coffered ceilings, and French-period styling.

I say do the same show, only put everybody on rollerskates. Or have the cast dress up as cats. Or both. And all the songs are by ABBA. And it takes place in the '50s, with lots of greaser cats and kittens wearing poodle skirts.

Hey, it couldn't be any worse.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. If the costumes are the only things that are being promoted prior to its premiere, you know it's gonna stink.

It's a shame that the talent of the cast was wasted on such garbage.

From what I have heard the new show is going to be sooooo much better. It actually has a plot. And conflict. And Villians. :) And Pirates. And Princesses. And Dreams.

Gee....they are kinda trying pretty hard to tie it into the theme for the next eternity, aren't they???
