Trip Report Christmas theme in DLP November '13

Hi All,

as told in a short pre-trip report we were in DLP last weekend (November 22nd - November 24th). I hope you all enjoy this trip report with a lot of pictures of our trip.

This time we were with the three of us. Me (Michel, 42), my wife (Ria, 43) and our daugther (Sacha, 16).

We departed (4 in the morning) from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, on the 22nd to be in DLP around 9 in the morning. First thing to do was the Mickey Salon. Here you can come in if you are a member of the shareholders club of DLP. Once a day you may come in to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and 2 snacks. It's open from 9 until 12 every day.

First some pictures from the inside of Salon Mickey! On the inside it looks like one of that old rooms were men smokes cigares like in the 20's of the last century!

Here we go again This time 3 uploads with just pictures from the Christmas Cavalcade in DLP. As you probably see on some pictures there is Disney snow during the Calvalcade Like I aid before we took a lot of pictures and we would like to share as much of the great trip as we can! Hope you all still like it. We still are on the 1st day of our weekend trip from 22-24 November this year.

When posting this replyes and watching the pictures again and again there is just one feeling Wanna go back there Bur the next visit to DLP wil be in April or May 2014 I guess... but more important and I cant stop telling and thinking about it... WDW in October 2014! It's almost time for a pre-trip report since we are looking on the internet where we wanna book a villa, flight and car and so on The trip is absolutely certain, but how and where is still in discussion. The first shop you see when you arrive in Frontierland

We go to DLP for more than 15 years now, and Lucky Nugget saloon changes the menu almost every 2 years. Here is a picture of one of the menus you can choose this year.

Looking back you see a part of the gate of Frontierland

Far away you can see Haunted Mansion, but with our new camera its seems much more closeby

In the area around Haunted Mansion there is a place you can meet Sally and Jack. They were not there, so Sacha is posing

Final post of the day! I will try to post on more regular base

This time it's already dark, so we were getting ready for Disney Christmas Dreams, one of the main reasons to be in DLP last November!

Details of the Christmas decoration in the gate

The first really impressive decorations just after the gate. It really was and is beautiful!

The Christmas tree on Town Square is also marvelous, but wait for the Disney Christmas Wishes show with Jiminy and Piocchio, it will be much more beautifull!

The trees in the area just around Town Square are also very nice lighted!

There was a new Christmas show this year. DLP Magical Christmas Wishes starring Pinnochio and Jiminy Using the giant Christmas Tree on Town Square.

On the pictures you can't see how good and special it was. There is also a link to a nice youtube video!

The final post of the Day. Every visit to DLP a visit to the barber is a have to do! Just like (as I am told) every Disney Park in the world, there is a barber in DLP. For more than 10 years I have a shave like it was done in the 30's and 40's I guess.... A marvelous experience! And for all males a have to do someday

Loving all the photos. I have been to DLP twice but find the cost expensive so I save for Florida instead. Parade looked great and not too busy.

I love getting a shave, wish the Barber Shop at MK still did that. Very nice job with the photos!

Haha that barber at The Barber Shop is the same person like the one on the extensive documentary I saw last year on France 3. Funny ! Again lovely pictures and congrats on your future trip to the World in October.. can't wait for that TR !

The town square. DLP has a new Christmas Tree this year! A wonderfull one and more special a show every beginning of darkness with the voices of Jiminy and Pinochio, but that will come later!
