Not all Religious christmas songs cram anything down anyones throat, like say O holy Night or Silent Night, IT`s sad though that some people want to take the Christ out of CHRISTmas and beleive me I`m not a religious zealot.after all that`s what the holiday is ALL about.

I NEVER said those songs cram anything anywhere, so dont put words in my mouth!

I was just giving an explanation, so dont think too much into it and assume.

My favorite Christmas songs ( remember I am jewish ) are the fun ones like jingle bell rock ,Santa is coming to town ,Rudolph the red nose raindeer , and Frosty the snowman
The cd I want to listen to on Christmas morning is The family Christmas from the disney store ( has songs sung by the disney Characters plus its the only Christmas Cd I have hahahaha)
I just bought it yesterday !!!
My favorite musical memory is just being with my dh every year listening to music and opening our presents and just spending time with each other ( dh is not jewish ) so thats why we celebrate christmas

Does anyone like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra? They have some excellent music, especially Christmas music, I recommend buying one of their Christmas CDs :)

1. What is your favorite Christmas song?

Carol Of The Bells

2. If you could only play one Christmas CD on Christmas morning, what would it be?

A Charlie Brown Christmas

3. What is your favorite Christmas musical memory?

Tree/house decorating while going through our entire CD library...

102.7? WNEW? Would that be the former home of Shock radio?

We get that here too, but we also get Sunny 104.5 from Philly. Two all holiday stations, WOO HOO! :xmas:

I'd also like to point out the AMAZING Christmas CD collection by Mannheim Steamroller. They have one of the coolest versions of Carol Of The Bells adn their version of Silent Night is ahnds down The most beautiful and, well, the BEST version my wife or I have EVER heard. I would recommend all 4 of their albums and say they are must-haves.

2. Favorite Christmas Album...don't laugh...because I'm sure none of you have ever heard of it...but it's really good... "Conway Twitty and the Twitty Birds: Merry Twistmas" (awaits laughter)
3. Favorite Christmas Memory...When my grandparents got snowed in and couldn't make it for Christmas...and I cried and was sad...and right before dinner...they walked through the door...and they said "We couldn't have a Christmas without you guys!"

What's wrong with Conway Twitty? He was a great singer. I bet you have never been to Twitty City.

Since I didn't actually answer the questions in my first post , here it goes.

1. What is your favorite Christmas song?
2. If you could only play one Christmas CD on Christmas morning, what would it be?
3. What is your favorite Christmas musical memory?

1) Jingle Bell Rock
2) My Time Life 4 cd set (does that count?)
3) Every Christmas Eve growing up. It's my Grandfather b'day and we'd do his b'day and Christmas with my aunt, uncle, and cousins on that night. This will be my first Christmas eve/Christmas/his b'day without him. :(

Thats what Christian Radio Stations are for.... :)

Some people dont like the "religious messages" Crammed down there throat.

Our "LITE" station flipped to x-mas music this past Wed. Its a MAINSTREAM station, meaning it attractacts a wide audience...

Now.. if you were to toss in a LOT of "religious message" songs... you would probally turn off a lot of people and advertisers, and everyone gets upset.

Its best to just play General Holiday songs... keep everyone happy... and leave the "religious messages" to the Gospel and Christian radio stations... as that is there audience anyway. :)

*Edited to explain a bit more*

Q: Could you be any MORE wrong?
A: No.

:) :xmas: ...oh, and....
