The Show will happen EVERY night, as the lights will be on EVERY night. The show will also be held during REGULAR park hours EVERY night. If there's a party, the lights will stay on. If no party, the lights will STILL stay on until the park closes.

From my limited Understanding of it.

Not the use of Caps is not yelling, just highlighting key words.

All of the MVMCP articles I've seen on these lights indicate that the show part of the Castle Dream Lights will take place during the party (by my interpretation). Therefore, I don't think they would do a show during regular park hours and then just leave the lights on for the party.

I'm still in the camp that believes the Dream Lights (or at least the show part) will be held only on MVMCP nights and then they will do it every night after the last party night through the end of the year. But, I've been wrong before....
:D

BTW ~ everyone that claims it will occur "every night" never seem to claim a source for that info. We'll know for sure come Tuesday night, I guess, when the first non-party night occurs after the program is scheduled to start.

I can tell you, definitively that the lighting show and the castle lights will occur EVERY night. This is from the Guest information section of the Cast portal (therefore safe to post).

Not sure, but the show definitely starts on the 12th. If Times Guides have already been printed, they may do a re-print of that day like they have done in the past.

Crass Commercialism about to rear its ugly head:

We are going to make a ton of money off photos of families with the castle. That is simply a breath-taking photo of the castle with all those lights on it.

So to answer another's question: Are you kidding? Of course it will be on every night. We need to allow as many people to have portraits as possible with the castle.

Crass Commercialism is now ended.

Count me among the cattle. First - I can't seem to master night time photography and secondly - this shot is too choice to leave to chance. Must line up for a photo pass photographer.

So Gorjus - have you requested this location?

.....and I'll be there for that.

I wonder if they'll be installing the MK Christmas Tree by the rose garden again until after the parade taping, like they have the past few years...

Imagine this photo with the new lighting on the Castle....

Cattle, no. Cherished friends whom we are honored to assist in capturing magical memories of their magical vacation, yes.

To be honest, I haven't photographed the Castle in forever. I miss it. I can't request it, I just have to go where the computer tells me to go. I can beg and plead with the computer, but it usually ignores me.

As for night time photography, set your camera on night portrait mode (guy with a moon or star next to his head). Hand the camera to a photopass photographer and ask him/her to take the photo with both cameras. Tell him/her it is on night portrait mode and ask them to balance it on their camera to make it steady. I would hope they would know that, but if they don't, correct them.
