28 here going up to 43.
Tropical.
And I see Britney's back in the hospital. Really, it's sad.

Oh dear. What happened this time?

You guys are not going to believe this one. Last night, DD was complaining that her foot hurt. I thought she was making it up b/c her brother had gone to the doctor for his ear, and she was jealous. She was limping around, and started crying that it hurt. Both DH and I thought she was full of it. Then this morning when she woke up, she wouldn't stand up. She won't walk. Any weight bearing hurts. If she has a fracture, I'm going to . We have to take her to doctor at 10:20, then we'll go to the hospital for an XRay.

I feel like such a jerk for not believing her. When I asked her how she hurt it, she said after their bath yesterday afternoon she twisted it. I must've still been in the bathroom b/c I didn't see her do anything.

Does it ever end??? :(

Awww, it's ok Kristin. *hugs*

I went over there to read about the weather and came across that...how can people have absolutely NO sense of right and wrong? :brick::brick:

Oh my goodness! That is horrible.

Hello. Back from the dr's. The "wet read" of the XRay was normal, but they still can't rule out a Salter fracture until after a more definitive reading. I guess a Salter fracture is a type of growth plate fracture that kids frequently get. She seems better; she will at least walk on it now, although she is limping. I'm still not going to win any mother of the year awards.

Thanks much to all of you for the supportive words.

Hey Kristin - that sounds so familiar - we couldn't tell for sure when Joel hurt his foot because of the growth plate issue. And stop beating yourself up over it. These things happen.

((Hugs)) - take it one day at a time, Jo. I'm certainly in no position to give any advice on this topic. My weight has been a lost cause for some time now. :o

I'm trying. It's just frustrating, because I just can't get motivated to exercise more (my hip being a pain has not been helping either).

Well, you need to be careful about the exercise anyway, or you could seriously hurt your hip. Is it a pinched nerve, or have they not discovered what's going on there?
