It's hard to tell, but it feels like it's in the same area.

And it is on the outside.

Hmm. If it's in just one spot on the outside of your hip it could very likely be bursitis. Does it hurt if you poke it? Or try this- lie on the side that doesn't hurt, then lift the leg that does hurt up, like a sideways leg lift. Does that hurt it? Either of those signs are usually present w/bursitis. Have you been to an orthopedic doctor for it?

Actually, it doesn't hurt when I touch it. And it doesn't hurt all the time. That's the problem. It only flares up once in awhile.

Well, you'll just have to take a road trip to MA so I can look at it for you. :lookaroun

I get so many patients in my clinic with prescriptions for PT that say "hip pain", which means I have to figure out what's wrong with them. :hammer: Too bad I don't earn a doctor's salary....

I'll have to hide them in the closet for a little while...
Yes, but this is my second big mistake with her! When she was 14 months old and learning to walk, she was falling everywhere. We have tile in our kitchen, and one day she fell particularly hard (onto her hands) and was holding her wrist afterwards. I looked at it and thought it was fine. She was using the hand to feed herself, etc, but would still hold it if she fell. So after 2-3 days, I finally took her to the doctor, and..... her arm was broken!!! I guess I didn't learn...
You are a bad mom! :sohappy:

:lookaroun

I'm back - we've been downgraded to a winter weather advisory here. It's supposed to get to 40 tomorrow, so hopefully it won't stick around long. Tomorrow at school is supposed to be Wacky Hair Day :lookaroun -should look interesting 'round there!
