My parents told me not to come into work today b/c there's supposed to be this big snow storm hit later and they don't want me driving in it.

There sure is. At least 6-10 inches for us, and your St. Louis NWS office is forecasting a 2-10 inch range. (Having less predictability is always more dangerous in weather forecasting.)

In other words... smart parents.

They're predicting snow changing over to freezing rain for us...I'd prefer just the snow - I hate ice. :(

:sohappy:for a snow day from work.:sohappy:

Hello Nibbs

Hello! It's supposed to snow like 4-6 inches today! (Why can't winter be over?!)

Hi Nibbs - yay for a snow day! I think that storm is supposed to head our way later, getting all area teachers and students excited.

I'm sure they all are. It's supposed to be a doozy!

I want your job!!

Hey is your vid on the CMO videos site? I wanted to check it out.

It should be here, if you click on it: Dream Job

They're saying 4-8 inches here...with more to the south and east of St. Louis (I'm north)

Omg you are so cute! I love it!

Thanks sweetie!

Indeed. The range is slightly less as you travel further north from St. Louis. (Still, glad you decided to stay home. The drive from work would be hell on ice.)

Thanks Dad! :lookaroun

I'm not really north of St. Louis though, so it really doesn't probably matter. I'm probably 30 min. max north of the city...so 30 minutes shouldn't make too big of a deal. It should still be pretty heavy.

I know we are windy and cool today, cold tonight but up in the 60s tomorrow.

No snow, no sympathy...:lookaroun

Aah, you should hear me whenever I'm with my friends... I'm like the surrogate dad of hanging out.

"C'mon, guys, this is a theatre, people are trying to watch..."

"Guys, we should probably head back, there's a storm coming in 15 minutes..."

Anywho, the snow should have already started, am I right?

 I was usually the mom. Too bad I wasn't younger, we'd be perfect for each other.

And no...it's not snowing here yet. But according to the radar, it should be.

I went over there to read about the weather and came across that...how can people have absolutely NO sense of right and wrong? :brick::brick:
You know...I do know how someone can not know right from wrong...it's happened to someone close to me. That person made a mistake and paid for it...it has now ruined their life. I of course, still don't think it's right...but from experience in some of these cases, it's not always black and white. (This of course, is one of those cases where there are...definitely this case that you mentioned is NOT ok!)
