I'm at work, so I have to wait till I get home to check, but I'm hoping most of them were backed up to CD. THANK GOD that I just (2 days ago) but our pictures from our Disney trip onto a disc.
Bunny, the picture of you and Anya w/Vince is so cute! You look great. :kiss: And I admire you for spending that much time with the in-laws. I can barely sit through dinner with my MIL....
I think I'll PM Nibbles to see if she can help me w/some of the photo stuff..

So... looks like my sister's college is having a parents' weekend from Feb. 20-25... and two of those days are gonna involve a trip to Disney for a few days. 
Unfortunately I'm not invited (and wouldn't be able to likely anyway), but I told Mom to take tons of random pictures from interesting angles with no people in them. It'll be exactly like I was there. :lol:

Oh no! That stinks!I tried to turn our computer on yesterday, and it was dead. Apparently the hard drive crashed. (It was 4 years old). DH took it to Best Buy last night, where he bought a new one. The Geek Squad tech said they could transfer the data off of our old hard drive on to the new one. Or at least that was the plan. They just called and told DH that the hard drive was so damaged, they couldn't retrieve any of our files.....It's the pictures of the kids that we've lost that I'm most upset about.
But that's why it's oh, so important, to make sure you burn CDs of all of your pics. I can't stress that enough! And if you don't want to burn CDs, put them on a photobucket or shutterfly account. That way you're at least somewhat protected.
I'm so sorry that this happened to you though.

Actually, I was going to ask you about transferring pictures from a CD-RW onto a DVD. Do you know if that's something I can do myself, or do I have to have someone (who ?) do it for me?

I'm listening to my Finding Nemo: The Musical CD right now.
I love the show, but I am not really that fond of the CD. I much prefer the performers in FL.
OT: So we ended up driving to the airport this time around, instead of cabbing it. From the parking garage you take a monorail to the main terminal. When we got on it last night to go back to our car, I busted out in my spiel (in perfect tone, if I do say so myself :king, "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas."
