at least this time they enhanced see the scene by adding motion even though it deviates from the source material in appearance. this is probably the most reasonable and respectful update they have done of this manner since they started this nonsense.

I think most of us just expected a black tarp over the area, or paint everything in the scene black. Cant see it, its not an issue.

I think they did a great job, and unlike HM (where the new effects are sometimes distractingly high-tech when juxtaposed with 1960s gags), they matched the style of the rest of the ride well. Top marks from me on this simple update.

Removing the injuns entirely would have been preferable to whatever this is. Those figures look like knock offs from a Chinese theme park.

Figures look pretty in line with the rest of the ride so as to not stand out. If we got an A1000 Tiger Lilly it would be pretty jarring.

Anyway I think this is an improvement from the extremely offensive caricatures that were there before. I don't think it entirely eliminates the inherent issue of the source material treating Native Americans as fantastical as mermaids and pirates and faeries, but the only solution to that problem would be to eliminate Native Americans from the ride altogether and I'm not sure that's the perfect solution either.
