Did anyone else laugh when the host for the re-dedication got up on stage and was announced as "Tracy Wiu" (sounds like Woo) - and most of the crowd clapped, cheered and said WOOOO! You know, like woo-hoo! And her name was Woo!:lol:

Or was it the heat that got to me? I laughed like crazy! WOOO! :ROFLOL:

I can tell you that while I was listening to it on one of the million podcasts/youtube videos I was thinking the same thing.

One thing I would suggest is to hold whatever event you do, at least in part, on a weekend . For myself, and I am sure many others, I can do a weekend trip with a moments notice but trips during the week require quite a bit of planning and depending on my kids school schedule can sometimes be impossible.

I just need to know more than three weeks in advance so I can adjust my schedule!:D

Celebration 26 here I come!

I've got to say that this was one of the best WDW trips I've ever had and I'll even go as far as saying that it was one of the best days of my life. I cannot stop thinking about Monday and how truly remarkable it was that so many people were together for 1 day. Adam (and everyone who worked with him), this was an event that left nothing to be desired. To me, it was the closest I've ever come to having a 100% perfect day at Disney. I enjoyed everyone who came out and everything we participated in. Heres hoping for Celebration 50!

Most importantly, to everyone I met and chatted with, you can always consider me a friend. The cohesiveness I felt with my fellow Disney fans is a feeling I will take with me for the rest of my life. I will forever remember Celebration 25 as a day of friendship.

This was truly a great day in my life that can never be rivaled. Thank you everyone who came out and showed what a little imagination and determination can do. I hope no one ever forgets "We Did It!"

I couldn't have said it better myself!:sohappy:

As far as the two I remember,

Eugene (from event services) was the Cast member who stuck around with us to wait for the burnoff and lead us out of the park

and

I believe the one from our history walks was named Brent who was very patient and helpful.

They were both very extremely nice and chatted with us prior to the history walks and the burnoff.

Plus to be able to deal with our rowdy group isn't the easiest thing in the world lol.

We were a lively group, but we were relatively well-behaved! I did thank the cast members I saw on our way to the exit for putting up with us though, just to be safe...:lookaroun :animwink:

So I've been thinking about the events a lot lately, and I keep remembering one quote that someone said to the Soarin' girl who loaded us on Sunday night. He said, "Some people do crack, we go to Epcot." I keep bursting out loud thinking about it - but for the life of me I can't remember who it was that said it.

Regardless, I think that should be the motto of our next group meet. It sums it all up pretty well. :)

That Soarin' Cast member said that she was going to try to find us on the 1st and join us, did anyone run into her? (I thought she said she was a friend of one of the soarin' ridealong people)

Just curious.

dream on!

No, I was talking about the girl who loaded us. The CM at the end is indeed a very good friend of mine and did come celebrate on Monday. :)

Sorry it took so long to post but I had a wonderful time and thanks so much to every one involved. I am also looking forward to the next event that we can celebrate together.

I was in line at the JIIwF group meet with Holly, a Soarin' CM - I can't remember her screen name though. She had told me they were expecting ya'll on Sunday afternoon, and that there weren't as many as they thought there'd be. (She also happens to live in the same town as my grandmother)

I have to agree here - the basic reason that my family couldn't come for the 25th is that the kids are in school, and we just couldn't justify taking them out of school for two days, especially since the youngest is in kindergarten, and the schools are off for two days later this month (kind of a mini fall break - friday is a planning day, and monday is an inservice day). We are, however, taking a quick weekend trip in December to see the Candelight Processional, the castle all lit up, and the lights at MGM - for the semi-locals (Master Yoda and I are both in the Jacksonville area, two to three hours away), a weekend is just easier.

EDIT - I have to add that I just mean some activities on the weekend, not all of it. I understand that not everything would be available, but a couple of activities would be very nice.
