They are fake. Otherwise, that is one mighty expensive decorating job, and I might have taken the Simba statue. :lol:Baums101 said:Do the characters on the castle that are gold real gold or are they fake gold?

There will probally be a bathroom in the suite, but there is also one located in Cindy's Royal Table.PintoColvig said:I've got a few questions about that room. Anyone have the answers?
Does anyone know if that room has a bathroom or would you have to hike it over to the restroom behind Pinocchio Village Haus?
I've heard that the window will overlook something, but not sure what, but it will most likely be 2-way glass, so you can see out, and nobody can see in.PintoColvig said:Is there a window especially with a decent view so I can do some looking around? :lookaroun
No clue, probally as soon as it's done being cleaned.PintoColvig said:And what's the time frame for checking in and checking to out? Could you get there before wishes or do you have to wait until the park closes?
You'll most likely be stuck, as the park is less then magical after hours.PintoColvig said:Also, once you are in, are you stuck there? Or can you wander the park at all?
 The moat is not heated. :lol:PintoColvig said:Is the pool heated?
They will select a family of four to fill the suite. So, 4 people total.PintoColvig said:How many people can stay with you in that room?
possibly.PintoColvig said:Is there a continental breakfast (ie., Cindy's)?
In the restruant kitchen.PintoColvig said:Where's the ice machine?
Disney police will get youPintoColvig said:If I actually win and get to stay, what happens if I choose not to leave the next morning?
They will probally still let people stay, but there is no plans to ever charge huge amounts for it. So it would still be a contest.PintoColvig said:And, I know that it is premature to be asking but I wonder what will happen after this latest campaign is over. Will people still be able to stay there (for a price) beyond Million Dreams thing?
No Problem:wave:PintoColvig said:If anyone has the answers to any or all of these, I'd appreciate it.

EDIT: I also read that the Castle will be painted, they aren't going to paint it like Tokyo!! Are they!?!?!
DisneyRoxMySox said:The castle in Disneyland Paris is actaully Belle's. Not Sleeping Beauty's.
Also, yes the chamber is Walt's unfinished apartment. But many believe, including myself that the living room is now Cinderella's Royal Table.

KentB3 said:Actually, the Disneyland Paris castle is Sleeping Beauty's. The name of the castle is Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, which translates as "Sleeping Beauty's Castle". This probably created some confusion with the word Belle, which is French for beauty.
Also, Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant does in fact look a lot like the (post-transformation) castle from Beauty at the Beast. This very likely could be due to the fact that Beauty and the Beast was made around the same time that Disneyland Paris was being designed.

Yes, it has been all of those things and more through the years...now it is finally being used for its intended purpose.stof911 said:as i remember, wasnt the apartment, turned into an area for operators to answer phones and schedule reservations and all those other things
rbrower said:Are they still going to do Cinderelabration after the celebration is over? Because if they do, the props for Cinderelabration might look funny, cosidering they have gold trimming and the rest of the castle wouldn't really.
bigcatholicj said:so....does this mean that the painting will be over and done with by dec 15, cause i would hate to have a funny looking castle in my pictures!!:xmas:

My gosh that is perhaps the ugliest site I have ever seen. I would hate to see WDW's castle look like that. I think it looks even worse then the castle cake.

I actually like this look. This is only a guess, but they may have also repainted it like this in Tokyo as a testbed to see how people react to the new paintjob. They may be trying an update to see how people react, and then if the reaction is positive, update the castle in Florida.askmike1 said:I loved the gold trim and will be sad to see them taken down. It will be nice to have the clock back though & the paint job (which hopefully is just repainting the current colors) will make the castle look better then ever. They can't just waste those statues though, I'm sure we'll see them somewhere.
