I wonder if they could adapt the DKMT from EU. Hidden arm beneath the track. Would give the illusion of jumping gorges, going into rivers etc.
Almost certainly not. There’s too much of a difference in how the ride systems work to continue beyond Concept Design and Feasibility without a choice.question…. The test track system could work for this attraction correct?
Like I’m wondering if they have plans for both that system and the trackless?
So you think they are all in on the trackless system?Almost certainly not. There’s too much of a difference in how the ride systems work to continue beyond Concept Design and Feasibility without a choice.
Yes. This is Disney and they have been none to do stupid and wasteful things, but we should hope so. Moving into Schematic Design without knowing that much about the ride system would be incredibly wasteful. That would all be money that’s been allocated to the final project being wasted on a design that would not be used.So you think they are all in on the trackless system?
The used guys would probably take your first born in payment, they are what give car dealers their rep.
Correct move!Yea, I get that.
But, I’ve also walked out on more than one new car dealing duel, due to salesman BS, over the years…!!!![]()
Do we know they’ve gone that far? It’s all pretty vague concept art so far.Yes. This is Disney and they have been none to do stupid and wasteful things, but we should hope so. Moving into Schematic Design without knowing that much about the ride system would be incredibly wasteful.
The Cars art is not vague at all and likely a painting done over plans.Do we know they’ve gone that far? It’s all pretty vague concept art so far.
Feasibility, which is the phase before Schematic Design, is when projects get the official green light.Do we know they’ve gone that far? It’s all pretty vague concept art so far.
I guess I can’t imagine the trackless technology being able to run fast enough to be thrilling - but maybe they can pull it off.
An example of a potential or similar ride system from Dynamic Attractions has been posted several times. Is this attraction supposed to be indoors, like Indy or Dino…?!!!
IIRC, it’s supposed to be some sorta’ Cars off-road attraction…how does a “trackless” off-road experience translate to an outdoor attraction, with what would, presumably, be ups, downs, twists, turns, jumps, etc…?!?!?!![]()
Yeah…. That’s what has me concerned haha.An example of a potential or similar ride system from Dynamic Attractions has been posted several times.

It’s reportedly an outdoor, trackless attraction emulating an off-road race, including climbing mountain trails, dodging geysers and splashing through “mudholes.”I’m not, necessarily, doubting you, as I’ve not read through nearly all the posts in this thread.
Again, is it an indoor or outdoor trackless ride system…? Because if it’s an outdoor trackless ride system that can closely emulate an actual off-road racing experience, I definitely want to be educated about that…!!!![]()

Is there any video of something similar now out there in the world, or is this something totally new…?!
I suspect several of you must of not seen this. It’s not their previously utilized trackless tech, it’s a new ride platform in collab with Dynamic Attractions. Yes, it’s ‘trackless’, but not in the context I think people refer to a specific ride platform shared between Rise, MMRR, Hunny Hunt, Luigi’s, aquatopia etc etc.

I don't think the vehicles in the video are the ride vehicles, but it does give you a sense of the terrain the attraction will have (hills, banks etc.)
