Seriously, why even bother with Avatarland at this point?

It's amazing how in the space of a week the landscape has changed. A week ago, more Star Wars or Indy at the theme parks seemed unlikely at best, now the possibilities seem almost endless (although you never know what you'll get with Disney these days). With the global fanbase that Star Wars has, Disney are sitting on a potential gold mine of possibility as they plan how to further implement the franchise into the parks.

It's an interesting question if TDO would prefer to have future Star Wars content concentrating in one park or would be willing to put them in different parks depending on content.

Very little of Star Wars would fit into DAK, but an Endor (or Kashyyyk) theme could work. But I've got to imagine that they will be more likely to put SW themed stuff into DHS only (at least to start).

I'm fine with brining Pandora to DAK (fits better with the theme) and putting SW into DHS. Heck, IMHO DHS is the biggest mess so adding more Star Wars (and Indiana Jones, maybe?) and Cars Land/Monsters Inc door coaster/expanding Pixar Place is needed.

I agree, I was speaking in jest more than anything. I guess it could be possible to spread the franchise between DHS and AK, perhaps theme DHS around Tatooine/Mos Eisley/Coruscant and put Endor/Kashyyk in AK. I find it interesting that one of the predominant complaints about Avatar is the lack of an established global fanbase and now Disney own the franchise with arguably the largest global fanbase. I'm not advocating filling Disney parks with Star Wars attractions at all but when you factor in merchandise possibilities, Disney will presumably want to take advantage of the benefits that Star Wars can bring. The bike coaster planned for Avatarland has been cut and as several people have pointed out, that would make for a perfect Speeder Bike attraction so you can't help but wonder whether Disney might have plans for that down the line. It's far too early to say right now but with Avatarland being scaled back, it will be interesting to see the extent to which Disney might plan to expand SW's presence at the parks. Until then, let the speculation begin :).

Just a thought to add, with Harry Potter now having a significant presence in both Universal parks in Orlando, a Star Wars land in more than one WDW theme park isn't a completely unfeasible idea. I'm not suggesting it will happen but it could help Disney go toe-to-toe with what Universal has done with the Potter franchise. Again, just speculating and I fully expect to be completely wrong :p .

I said this in the other thread. :) They could have their own "Hogwarts Express", a Starspeeder perhaps, that takes them from DHS's Lucasland to AK's Endor.

They could... but it would be so far apart as to be completely unfeasible at this time. If they are building transport between DHS and DAK, it will be a monorail for general use.

Looks like we t finally gonna get new Star Wars additions to DHS ad mayb even a whole land!

At this point, I'd like to see Disney just tear down the IJ stunt show and use that space, plus the expansion pad behind it, plus the Sounds Dangerous stage and just make a massive Star Wars Land. I think this would work better than just adding to the existing setup because there is so much theming that can and should be done for SW.

Then they can build an IJ attraction elsewhere -- maybe expand DHS somewhere and create and "action film" area that IJ can play a part of.
