I HATE Avatar. So the way I will take in this land is to ignore the film(s) and just pretend its a made up Disney themed area. I'm sure they wont force us to watch a 3hr movie... So I will be able to accept each ride as a new Disney idea.

for anyone else who hates Avatar I sugest the same for you.

Disney has yet to make a movie as boring as Avatar. I mean, yeah, John Carter was kinda lame, but it wasn't boring.

I would hope you are kidding.

First, it was leaked intentionally.

Second, even if that wasn't the case, it isn't anyone here's job to police Disney's IP ... I've been taught that lesson by much smarter more connected posters down below!

74, your wrong about it being leaked intentionally. I know exactly where this came from and how and when. In fact I'm the sole person for the access to the info. Just saying this was not an intentional leak I know that for a fact. I'm actually a little e off that these prints made it to the Internet because my source could badly get burned and for everyone's sake let's hope that doesn't happen.

And I won't either. Could not care less, and my opinion of TDO has dropped a notch or two.
You had an opinion of TDO that allowed it to drop a notch or two?? TDO is many things but I won't knock them here for at least deciding to build something in a park that desperately needs anything. Of course I'll have to wait to see the final product or at least some more concrete plans (though I guess those pics are about as concrete as it gets...but hopefully concept art gives a better visual) before passing final judgment.

I have no idea what you know. I might even say is you're worried than the proper place to mention that is privately, not here where every nitwit at Celebration Place will be reading when thet show up for work in five hours (if Blondie isn't up now reading along). ... When info spreads like it has, my only logical conclusion is a deliberate leak. I haven't, for my part, shown the docs to ANYONE. Not saying I won't, of course!

And if you're responsible ultimately for the leak than I think you should consider who you are leaking it to and how trustworthy they are and if there's any possibiity that others can glom on to the info.

But if I shouldn't protect Disney from online sleezeballs like Lou Mongello or Tom Corless, then I have no obligation to not spread their plans far and wide ... maybe I should send them to Jason Garcia? Nah, I'd rather send them to Brooks Barnes.

Does Disney still refer to things in-house as "C-Ticket", etc.?

The ancillary (I assume boat, as water would add some kinetics), ride is labeled "C-ticket" and the little indoor portion that overlaps the Soarin' 2.0 thing says, "C-Ticket Sponsor" over the little indoor "scene".

I still cringe that Disney needs "sponsors" since we all "sponsor" the place with our tickets and God-knows how much else we spend there, but I found that a bit odd still for some reason in this land.

Maybe Mr. "KING OF THE WORLD" should sponsor it, and we could put his gold statue there for everyone to fawn over. Maybe have him waving at you. (And then we can have the "Blow-hard Watch" replace the Yeti Watch when his hand is malfunctioning.

If these are legit, then please let this be more than what it looks like - an expansion of the Soarin' concept.

Because if that's all it is... well, watch out, Universal!

Well, maybe Disney will have this guy dive-bombing people to generate excitement:

Take that, Potter! :P

Agreed. It's nowhere near enough to compete with what Universal is currently doing. They could really use that bike coaster. Sigh :(

Well I am by no matter of means, an insider. However, occasionally I get a little nugget here and there. I too got the blueprints and am looking at them as I type this. Not sure of the original source, but they came hand me down (I assume) from someone really reliable. This is the first time I got something of this magnitude and kind of feel I didnt deserve them, so I also feel it was intentional. I have also been told than this is NOT a Soarin 2.0 type of ride. I have been told that it is more "HP" with Soarin elements. I assume that to mean moving vehicles. Also the boat ride is part of a walking/boat tour that is actually quite extensive and reaches indoors/outdoors. I know some of this is "late to the party" but nevertheless coincides with other tidbits that came out over the past few hours.

Also, dont know if this means anything or not, but my "internet celebrity gossip investigating" has revealed that James Cameron was in L.A (/Burbank?) all this week.

Similar in some ways, VERY, VERY different likely in end product.

And, no, it isn't coming here and Disney isn't gonna force UNI to sell its rights only for them to pick up DC rights and why do I just feel like beating up fanbois today?
Are all disney rides going to be videos now? Are they ever going to make a ride with actual themed sets, practical effects, and audio animatronics again? Video woks for star tours but its lame when they keep doing it over and over again

I really hope this gets built! I personally think Pandora is a great idea, its dripping with potential! I am having a hard time trying to understand why it is receiving so much hate? Yeh the movie story was average but the setting and backstory was spectacular! Come on TDO, make the right choice!!!

I have some hope that TDO will make Avatarland a unique experience that anyone can enjoy. They don't skimp on details, that's for sure. Refurbishments.. That's another story. (:
