I know right? Some of us really would like to talk about what REALLY matters, like WDW toilet paper quality.

Yet another update. Very in depth. There's now more than 3 insiders claiming buzzy has been stolen.
Ummm... this....

If Buzzy was stolen and Disney is telling "news sources" that Buzzy was stolen, then where are the "news sources" that would be saying right bout now: "We've reached out to Disney and asked if Buzzy was stolen, and they have indeed confirmed that Buzzy was stolen."?
'Cause, I can't find them. All the news sources that are reporting on this keep mentioning the theft of clothes, not Buzzy itself.
I just watched it. I can’t get over how dumb someone has to be to go back to where you’ve already been basically escorted out. That’s just asking for it.The new Sonswa vid is really interesting. Detailed stories of every time he was caught at Disney. They tried to charge him with felony burglary for DisneyQuest but the State dropped it.
It was so nice to get updates on WOL's condition as there wasn't really any photos or videos of it for years up to the point when he uploaded it.Personally, I don't mind MattSonswa, because... let's face it, I want to see the things he films, and if he's willing to take the risks I would never take, more power to him.
I think the big thing people are missing is that multiple insiders, including the very spot on marni, are backing this story up.
True, true. What @marni1971 said was purposefully vague. An "unauthorized removal" is not necessarily theft if one department within WDW removed it without going through the proper channels. Or, it could mean theft. Purposefully vague and can't be used to definitively say one way or the other, except to confirm Buzzy isn't there in WoL any more.
And besides Martin, who are the other insiders saying Buzzy was stolen? Links please.
This doesn’t update anything. It’s the same three “inside” sources-marni, *****, and Kinsey. None of those people are naming their sources or offering any proof. This particular article just summarized the situation but said they were “leaving it up to readers” to decide what happened.
So many people are obsessed with sources, facts and logic that the presumable outcome is that it didn't happen because... well because, there's not enough "proof".
Yeah I think this summarizes the key points perfectly.Yeah... you're not getting what those of us looking for sources, facts, and logic are saying. But nice ad hominem there telling us how wrong we are because we're "obsessed."
We've been saying we don't really know what happened. We are not saying a theft didn't occur. We're being suspicious of two groups:
1. People who say it was stolen but can't provide proof.2. People who say it's *likely* it was stolen (which I think is your stance, no?) because of all this hearsay.
So, no, we're not coming to the conclusion it wasn't stolen because we don't have an actual, reliable source yet. We're saying we can't come to a conclusion yet in response to the people in points #1 and #2 above.
As to what's *likely* to have happened based on an educated *guess*, I pose this to you...
1. If Buzzy was stolen, why would WDW make an official report the clothes were stolen but not the AA?2. If people are saying "it's confirmed" in some way... where are those confirmations coming from? (Especially Tom Corless's tweet saying WDW is confirming this to news sources... what news sources? Why aren't those purported news sources reporting they spoke to Disney and got a quote on the subject?)

Yeah, at this point I'm taking everything that comes out with a grain of salt, unless it comes from you or official documentation. There's so much conflicting info, that it's hard to trust any of it. You've proven many many times that stuff slowly reveals itself, so I trust you with this more than anyone.I’m sure the whole sordid truth will be clear soon.
Slightly off topic, but does anyone know how they actually keep banned persons out of the park. I used to work the gates at EPCOT and I can say it never came up in training or during the day to day.

Exactly. It doesn’t phycially prevent you from coming back just gives them the ability to have you arrested when you do.The simple answer is: They don't. You're told you are banned from the property, and if you come back you'll be charged with trespass. So if you come back and they have an interaction with you for whatever reason, they'll charge you and kick you out. They don't actually check as you enter.
