Hope you make it to Boston Andy, it should be one heck of a party.
wdwhoneymooner said::brick: Gotta scratch that. Just remembered my son's t-ball championship game is this Saturday. I've got my priorities, ya know. And what a co-incidence! His team just happens to be the RedSox. :sohappy:
Another fair minded sports fan. I salute you too :wave:SpongeScott said:Congrats to all the Sox fans, especially you, Brian.
As a Yankee fan, the whole thing seems surreal right now, but I've got to hand it to Boston--they fought like s to come back and win 4 elimination games in a row. We may never see this again in our lifetime and hats off to them and to the fans for enduring and always believing.
Where are you, Seano846?
Yawno846 said:And as far as October goes "your" team will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER better the Yankees and to prove my point I WILL be reminding you of this in October when the eternal "wait until next year" statements are on the lips of every sox fan. So I will be talking to you in October you "REAL" sports Fan
P.S. You can put your Patriots hat on now, The SOX ARE DONE :sohappy:
NostraSeanus said:Well Wilting, My bump was actually my fufillment to the the promise that I made to you back on July 3rd, That I would be reminding you in October that The Sox will NEVER NEVER overcome the Yankees.

Seanbaby said:I was watching this thread all along but I wanted to wait until you knew the Red Sox were DONE. And belive me, you know it now don't you.
So I'll still be around :sohappy: but I will leave this topic alone for good :zipit: . Good luck waiting untill next year. :brick:
Senor Seanster said:Well wilted, if you read My post it said I wasn't going anywhere, just leaving this topic alone due to the sheer boredom and monotomy of the subject. ( I mean come on, year after year, after year, the same old story)
...and you still WON'T see that. You'd think people would learn not to post things early like that.diz420 said:Red Sox vs. Roger Clemens...........I never would have thought I would see that.
Now I don't know who to pull for? My baseball Hero vs. His old team......![]()

I went back to the start of this thread and found what I had posted. Well, at least I found it interesting. Championships are not won until the last out is made in the last inning. NY can tell you all about that now.SpongeScott said:I'm a Yankee fan, but I'm hear to tell you that championships are not won in July. Yeah, Boston is not having the best of times right now, but are you more satisfied with Boston LOSING rather than NY WINNING? Let's check back in October and see if the Yankees can put together four wins. Then we'll begin the celebration. Just ask the Lakers about that.
