I can see that. Personally Spider-man is my favorite attraction in any park, but I probably would've liked it much more if there was a Spidey AA. Off topic...but is HP gonna have AAs? Please say yes.

Unless things have changed drastically (and I've been told they have, but not in what specific way) the answer is yes, there will be AAs. But not for the wizards. Again, a lot has changed from the plan I have so really we're now all just shooting in the dark for specifics anymore.

Aside from the noisy creepy- puppets at the end, El Rio was JUST as dependent on screens.

People's minds Try and explain it all they want, but the only reason for not liking Gran Fiesta is that it's NOT El Rio.

I disagree. The screens were always there (aside from the first and final scenes) but they were not *what* you were looking at. They were just things happening around you to enhance the overall setting. Now it's all bells and whistles and wha-hoo look at me I'm a screen look at my bright colors everyone stop what you're doing and stare right here!

A big freakin' snake....unless that got cut, or turned into a static figure.

I don't know of any AA Harrys, Rons or Hermiones.....but I guess it's possible.

Not just a snake. But like I said, everything I've been told is no wizards.

On a side note, can you believe they are not allowed to have walk-around wizard characters in the new land?

That's just dumb.
There should be walk-around wizards, just not the important ones.
Give them wands that are interactive with the scenery and....oh, wait...
:D

There is supposed to be a wand shop (Ollivander's perhaps?) where you can purchase and pick your own wand. Supposedly, "The wand will pick you." Might just be hype to tie in to the books. Might be some neat effect. Who knows. Might get cut all together with the way the project has run thus far! ha.

Exactly...and those wands will be able to do a "Kim-Possible-World-Showcase"/Magiquest thing to the scenery and whatnot.
If they still do that....I really hope so.

I wouldn't anticipate that getting cut. It's basically a license to print money.

God knows it's gonna cost me plenty.
Wife's got a bit of a Potter problem.

Haha. I'm not going to lie. I do have a wand. My best friend bought it for me for my birthday a few years ago. It's Voldemort's. He told me it's because I am pure evil. Is that bad? :fork:

No way. Voldemort is BA, although I do hate the way he is portrayed in the movies.

I kind of hate everything about the movies. Maybe it's because it's the only series of books that I've read from cover to cover. But SO much is cut out of the films. They feel like total chop jobs to me. I get that not ever page can make it to the film, but it seems like IMPORTANT stuff is cut, USELESS stuff is kept and everything is just stapled together without any comfortable flow.

LOVE the books though!

I enjoy the movies. Of course before I go and see them, I look in the mirror for an hour and tell myself, "It's not gonna be as good as the book." over and over to lower my expectations, and then I really enjoy them.

The only really important thing they haven't done ANYTHING with, and it's going to show in the next one is the Harry/Ginny relationship.

And my problem with Voldey is that they made him too spastic in the movies. It's like he's always flipping out. I always saw him as a Darth Vader-like figure. Cool, calm, collected, and horrifyingly-powerful.

I am really excited for the AA basilisk. I wonder, will there be any of those giant spiders from Chamber of Secrets? How about Fawkes, the phoenix?

No, we knew the ride was going to be down, but the "breaking news" is that it will be down for a year or more. Old reports had it opening for the holidays.
