You might be right but outside of a Disney park it just isn't the same. Lost continent probably comes the closest and the PoE street and shops are impressive. The rest is just OK and JP has never impressed me except the architecture of the CS restaurant.
IoA has Mythos...and thereby rules.
The comparable eatery at MK? Anyone....anyone....

Universal has some neat technology and some decent rides, but they don't come close to the Disney magic.

Unfortunately, little by little Disney does not even come close to the Disney magic anymore. What little is left has been there in some form since the beginning through the 80s, with a few notable exceptions (Tower of Terror, Animal Kingdom's look...though there are still too few decent rides there...Everest was terrible, but at least the Safari is one of the best attractions in the whole resort).

The only thing I'll say in Universal's favor is the food was better. But the employees (we saw four rude employees at Disney over our five day visit, I distinctly remember five at Universal in our one day there), crowd control (why did I wait 20 minutes to ride Dueling Dragons on a very slow day) and themeing just don't cut it. The Lost Continent is beautiful, though. Its somewhere between Six Flags and Disney.

And to think that a very specific mountain could have started construction at DAK this spring...

*moment of silence*

And to think an entire land could have been built and opened about 10 years ago with an awesome dragon/castle attraction with other original attractions...

Why has no one stated that Universal's Lost Continent is changing to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter by 2010? They actually ARE going to be completely changing and adding a new land. They ARE improving their park, and leaving Disney in the dust. That 20 minute wait for Dueling Dragons won't exist anymore once Harry Potter arrives, because DD won't BE there anymore, and all waits will be extremely extensive. THEY are going to be changing, and Disney....... will maybe have an well-needed improved Space Mountain.... @_@
