It was his rumor to start with. This guys got a lot of good insider info. Follow his posts carefully.
My friend who told me about Brazil is an engineer with Disney. He said Disney will make the official announcement once some last funding details are hammered out.

My friend told me that they're completely retheming WS so it will no longer be countries, but different Marvel comic books.
He projected 2012, so that would fit with the time frame that both of us have heard.

I think you'll see most of the Marvel placement at MGM. It would be a better fit.

Where they choose to put the Marvel characters is anyone's guess. The World Showcase probably wouldn't be the first place though.

I know you dont believe it but Universal really does own the rights to Marvel East of the Mississippi till at least 2015. There can be Marvel characters as soon as the deal is finalized in DL but not in WDW till Unis contract expires or the forfit the rights.

That's not a bad guess but they already have them there. To further promote their new acquisition, expansion into the WDW parks is the way to go.
I believe you but that is as the contract stands now. For all we know that contract is already being renegotiated.

Disney is a forward thinking optimistic company. Don't expect them to acquire an established brand name like Marvel and not maximize its potential.
