This is Epcot not EPCOT.
That's my rebuttal.

When I type EPCOT, I mean Epcot. It's just habit.

EPCOT is a nod to it's past.

Epcot is still encompassing of Future World and should be focused on that theme.

Good rebuttal.;) :D

And I hate typing Epcot. So puny!:hurl:

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
Epcot is crap........................

FACT! cause I say so.

I think Future World is a wishy washy subject. It's all just a matter of perspective.

I love Nemo and I just think that ride should have gone in DAK or DHS or even MK.

It could have been fixed without Nemo easily mainly by redoing it with the Atlantis theme from the cocept art.

Um ok you're asking for something futuristic right? Well Atlantis the lost empire is set in the 1920's and Nemo is set in modern day... You lost me on your point if there is one...

:lookaroun He's got a point if it is about the movie. If it isn't then maybe not.

You all claim that FW isn't really about the future anymore so it would fit.

What I would have done was retheme it as Sea Castle or Sea Base Delta, there is two more ideas with out Nemo. If I could come up with then I'm sure WDI could have.

Epcot has never once had attendance issues so I don't understand why everything new has to have a character when there are three other parks for it.

I wouldn't really have a problem if the put Nemo in subtly but to dedicate a whole pavillion in FW to him is a bit much.

He's not talking about that Atlantis.

In the early 80's, the actual "myth" city was a conceptual idea for the pavilion.

They are basically trying to make more Child friendly attractions... Since its usually families that are visiting the resort.

Not that I care for it much either but at least Energy, Test Track, Living with the Land, Maelstrom, Spaceship Earth, etc have not been touched character wise.

There is that, too. Turtle Talk was a welcome addition.

Well change just for the sake of change isn't always a good thing, look at the current state of JII.

If it's ok to slap a character into any attraction at Epcot because it's more kid friendly then it really shouldn't be called Epcot any more.

Energy now has Bill Nye, who is a Disney character I believe.
