Brazil to join the World Showcase at Epcot

I should have worded that differently I don't accept it but it's a lost cause. The shame is it's a nice c or d ticket and would be great in DHS or DAK.

I don't understand all these character tie ins at EC because the park never had issues drawing in people. To think that Nemo and even though he is my fav Donald, would bring in more people is crazy. The yearly attendance has hardly changed.

This is the aregument that can't be beat, there are three other parks for that stuff.

I agree with you...Park attendance has never really been a issue at EPCOT. That's wholly a myth.

I guess they do these things in a attempt to appeal to another demographic. The shame is, they are ignoring another one, entirely.

I don't mind Donald, though. Even though I miss El Rio, Donald is a *good* fit for Mexico.

You deserve a reward for being a tour guide and controlling those people. :)

Interesting perspective, and I agree with not liking the idea.

On the WS note, Disney has movies all around the world. From Paris to Louisiana to Canada to China to Africa to England to the Middle East... get my point? I don't mind cartooning up, if you want to call it that, WS if it brings great attractions.

In today's society, kids want to do things rather than learn. It's the ugly truth. :zipit:

I don't mind cartooning up either, as long as it is accurate a represents the country. And it's not what usually happens to Brazil.

You're right about the kids nowadays. I am lucky to have a daughter that likes to learn. And the kids in the groups... well, here's the reason I quit: they never wanted to do anything, they just wanted to hang out in the hotel pool, hook up with each other (most of the groups were 15-year-old girls, away from their parents' eyes, thinking they could do whatever they wanted), and ride thrill rides. Some of them didn't want to see fireworks or parades, or anything else that didn't give them adrenaline. I was a tour guide because I felt great to show my paradise to other people, and I was very sad to see people ignore the Disney magic...

What did that ride teach you exactly besides that it's a big blue world.

I learned a heck of a lot about manatees and the other animals in the tanks, as well as some fun fact about the smaller fish in the small tanks, and some facts about sea turtles in Turtle Talk.

And it's actually fun in there now, and gives me a reason to go into the pavilion.

I get it, you people don't like Nemo so you're basically blinded by all the good it does, so this is my post on the matter.

I love Nemo and I just think that ride should have gone in DAK or DHS or even MK.

It could have been fixed without Nemo easily mainly by redoing it with the Atlantis theme from the cocept art.

Thanks for the interesting rumor for the News and Rumors section.

And thanks to you for the obnoxious reply. I mean honestly folks - the guy shared what he heard. Isn't that entirely the purpose of a discussion forum? If everyone was jumped all over like this guy was for passing on a bit of info, *no one* would ever post anything new on here.

Wow, man, I am saying the same thing you are. Simmer down a little.

I don't think he should have been jumped on for posting what he heard.

He heard a rumor and posted it in the news a rumors section, that's all. I'm glad he posted it and have no problem if it is false.

Apologies to the OP if you took my response in the same light that csm did. That was not my intent.

People complain about Imagination! all the time. I loved the orginal, still love figgy.

It is NOT FUTURISTIC. AT ALL. WOM-postshow was the only futuristic part. So don't even pull that!

Tyler...It used to be...Near the end, you would see Figgy explore the realms of science.

However, the show did entertain, and INSPRIRE one to create the future.

Subjectively, of course.
