And let’s not forgot what’s already gone. Body Wars. Cranium Command. Making of Me. Sum of all Thrills. Storm Struck. To name a few. Sticking to lowercase Epcot for accuracy.

I did all the attractions at Epcot last trip, and personally Figment is the single worst ride at WDW. Nemo is easily second.Nemo was one of the longest waits on my last trip, and honestly, I’d be okay with not doing it again unless the wait is 0-10 minutes. IMO, it’s not a good ride, and the parts I care about are when the screens mesh with the real tanks.
I did both Test Track and M:S (Green) for the first time ever on the same trip, and I really enjoyed them! Both could be better, but I really did enjoy them. However, M:S isn’t helping the capacity issue at the park. I think the friend I did Green with and I waited 10 minutes. My friends who did Orange waited maybe 20. Test Track had over an hour wait at this point. M:S just needs something else to make it special.
Spaceship Earth needs to fix the descent. The screen portion was not great.
Living with the Land is probably one of my favorite rides at Epcot, but it needs an update for the 21st century.
Lastly... Imagination. This was the first trip ever for me that I didn’t step foot in the Imagination pavilion. I think the first and only time I rode Imagination was that first trip in 95, but my family always went to HIStA. I asked one of my friends if she wanted to go visit Figment (since the ride was a walk on), and she said no. So we didn’t. And neither did 95% of the people at Epcot. Disney needs to make Imagination 4.0 a priority.

That's a hot take right there......it think I see the problem
If we’re being technical, he did say ride, not attractionI don't know, Stitch's Great Escape is still technically not closed for Good....
Soarin' 1 should have been left at DCA. Soarin' 2 makes sense for Epcot... but I miss the smell of oranges
I feel like Test Track 1.0 was the superior attraction in the 'fun' aspect. The new one just does not capture it as well, but it did need an update, and it's still a great ride that fits in EPCOT.I wish we had Soarin 1.0 and Test Track 1.0 to be honest- I cannot help but feel like a lot was lost with those “updates”....excited for the new attractions and hope they come to their senses and add a ride/experience with Brazil.
This. Both TT #2 and Soarin #2 are slightly inferoir to their originals, both actually fit better with Epcot.I feel like Test Track 1.0 was the superior attraction in the 'fun' aspect. While I miss the original, Soarin' Around The World is a far better fit for Epcot.
Flight of Passage it very different. It's only comparable because of the multi-level setup. You are pushed further to the center of the screen in FoP. Also, on FoP it's supposed to be one take vs. Soarin' is about seeing sight moreso than feeling like being there if you know what I mean. Both excellent attractions, but FoP with its far more immersive theming make it the next level.I finally did the new Soarin' on my last trip and I specifically was disappointed that the orange grove sequence wasn't there. Maybe the ride was exaggerated in my memory (or I was spoiled from just doing FoP at Animal Kingdom) but the simulator aspects with movement didn't feel as good on the new ride.
It's not only about thrill.Soarin is a mid level thrill simulator...that's the thing. It's not appropriate as a park "anchor"
...it's kinda a microcosm of what's been lacking in parks these last 20 years - and Epcot in particular. Just saying.
Spot on.This. Both TT #2 and Soarin #2 are slightly inferoir to their originals, both actually fit better with Epcot.
You are right. EPCOT is huge and can swallow up the crowds. Tron would have fit nicely where WiL used to be and would be next to Tron Test Trak. That would give you GorG roller coaster, Tron roller coaster, Mission Space And Test Trak On one side. Figment and the movie theatre need help big time. Fix Future World First then go from there.Don't know about that. Doesn't Epcot have a much greater capacity? And if Epcot had an E-Ticket in each of the FW pavilions and a bunch of C & D rides in WS, I bet it would surpass MK. I think that's the direction they'll eventually go in, hopefully. The focus on "family-friendly" in the new rides should draw in families with children as well as retain the more mature crowd.

It will ge nice if there are two more attractions invWS to balance it out.

It would be better if this were the case, but as it is, the highlighting of different nations is more in line with Epcot than Soarin around California. It would fit better if it highlighted all the countries represented in WS. In that case, Epcot's Soarin' would be a show unique to Epcot. Such an update would be the chance to fix the Eiffel Tower problem by presenting it from a different angle and further away.
