If I may - Balance.
Don't forget, they are adding two attractions/rides to WS in France and UK and recently updated(most political way to put it...) Norway's attraction. Still also the potential for a refurbish of Mexico. So adding one additional Pavillion with new food and decor is a bit of a balance.

Also please remember we are getting a new ride in FW with GotG, already updated Mission Space. With some additional work being done.

I actually kind of enjoy the balance. Would I have preferred a ride with Brazil...sure. But not all go to Epcot for the rides, just walking the WS and seeing and experiencing their cultures is a nice break from Ride after ride.

It’s nice to read this from someone.

Even though we may be in the minority in this thread, I do think that a lot of visitors agree with that view of the WS. It’s ok for people to not like every decision, or every pavilion.

AK is absolutely a full day park if you look at it from more than a "rides rides rides" perspective. But it absolutely needs several more attractions. DHS is a mess and needs triple what they're getting.

But even if the other three parks are built up substantially as being "even" with the Magic Kingdom, the MK will *always* be busier and popular, no matter how much you put in the other parks. It will balance out better but I don't think the MK will ever see a decrease, they'll keep seeing increases the more they add to all the parks. But that's where adding capacity comes in. But then when you go ten years without new things, guests will flood in for something new so ... they're really very behind in terms of additions and being able to keep up with the amount of guests that are visiting the parks.

Don't know about that. Doesn't Epcot have a much greater capacity? And if Epcot had an E-Ticket in each of the FW pavilions and a bunch of C & D rides in WS, I bet it would surpass MK. I think that's the direction they'll eventually go in, hopefully. The focus on "family-friendly" in the new rides should draw in families with children as well as retain the more mature crowd.

I'd like to know too. IMO don't throw something out there like that unless you can talk more about it. This is a worrying tease.
This is worrying, I get a weird feeling after reading Martin say something about the walking path near Imagination. Maybe once the spine redevelopment happens we are loosing a pavilion eventually and not adding any to balance the possible new pavilions coming to the WS.

I don't think they would ever get rid of a pavilion, IMO. I think it may be a reference to attractions. There were plans in the past 5 years to get rid of O Canada, from what I can recall. The "replacement" wasn't well liked by insiders.

What if things were taken away too? Your "balance" would be one sided again.

In FW or WS? I'm struggling to see what could be taken away in WS. IDK in France perhaps, O Canada. China is getting re-vamped, Rat and UK ride being added (eventually).

Ah wait. 3 Caballeros then?

I'm right in the middle of this debate. I love WS, it's my happy place to wander on my own when the family are busy elsewhere. But I can't wait for the new stuff, and I wish we could get those original plans for Germany and Japan.

FW for me right now is such a let down. I want to be wowed, but when I watch your videos of the likes of Horizons I just get wistful for what it was.

Magic Eye is going away eventually, so that knocks out a bit of capacity there.
