Seven years has been disney corporate code for “something we want the pub for...but have no intention to actually build”

It seems 3 or 4 years is the sweet spot now.

Right up there with the most embarrassing moves in WDW history. Letting it lag for 17 years in decay.

Closing of wonders of life without replacement is right up there...but imagination was Epcot sabotage.

Just a guess, but thinking Martin may have meant “several”. “Seven” seemed strange to me as well. We never get something that specific, unless maybe when we’re down to days, hours, or minutes!

Because that’s the currently projected timeframe. Imag is currently at the back of the queue. It could be partial demo, complete demo (more unlikely now), a C ticket, a D ticket, an E ticket. Many options are bouncing around and unless it bumps the queue they’ve plenty of time to decide on one.

Imagination should at minimum be a D ticket, if not an E. Figment is the mascot of the park, after all.. Surprised with how much they push him for merch / in the festivals / etc that they don't see the value in doing more with him.

Considering it’s never been "official" yet it doesn’t surprise me. Epcot’s scheduling has been very similar to AdLib of several years ago but on a larger scale.
