No one wants Disney to focus on white middle America. Please stop the nonsense and politics.
I think you can do better than that
This NY Post analysis says otherwise...

Also if you think there's nothing political about this proxy fight, you're going to be disappointed when you look up Peltz's donations.

Gonna be entertaining to read Disney's annual proxy this year, especially if something explosive is in it.
I know you can do better than that two bit rag

But I agree this is steeped in politics…because everything. That doesn’t mean I want to debate party planks or candidates for 2028…but we cannot deny all these things are heavy politics. Because politics are about power and power is about Money.

Now. Back to “business”. So no need to alert mods. You can acknowledge that Politics are real without it becoming a back and forth display of stupidity

The thing kinda got political the moment Peltz compared the Disney board to "communist China".

I assume he is aware that China is a top market for Disney, is he?

Perlmutter…
Let google be your guide

And China is NOT a top market for Disney and never will be for its portfolio.
NATO is…you just gotta look at the pattern.

Iger made a huge mistake worrying about China. And Peltz is shading that…whether he knows it or not

Avatar 2 was released there and it could be the market (along with India) that helps it cross $2 billion.
Disney had nothing to do with avatar 2 though…

I see people desperate to pump bob’s tires as their lord and dominatrix are very big on not acknowledging it at all.

I don’t want to hurt feelings though…Bob has lied to them and he took away their tiered fastpasses at mgm…it’s been a rough couple of years 🥹

That was a 20th Century Fox holdover.

It’s just a bit incongruent that they’d continue to make major films that are DOA in China, ostensibly a major market for them. Unfortunately some of them don’t make much penetration in the US box office either.

I mean…just do 5 seconds of research about timeframes, avatar, Jim cameron, Lightstorm and just a tad of Hollywood history.
Disney is a passenger for this one

I'm not sure you need to be an expert to see this, and I'm not sure of Disney's point here.

They're using the unhinged CNBC interview against him to show how uninformed he is. The question is whether or not investors are better informed about how Disney operates than him, which, if the constant speculation by media analysts of a nonsensical ESPN/ABC spin-off are any indication, probably not.

How many people who speculate on that sale have even attempted to ballpark the price it would fetch? It would be at least $80B before a potential bidding war.

What’s funny is that this uninformed, kook raider who doesn’t know the parks is still 100% right about that parks comment…

He just butchered how he phrased it.

“If you continue to exploit the parks and overcharge while draining the customer pool to make up for mismanagement in other segments…you don’t have a future”

That is the way.
