Bob Iger at WDW now ... BoD to Follow?

My point was. A lot of talent that was brought back into Disney, were working for Disney in the first place.
They were deemed "incompatible", until they finally did show their skills (like Lesseter)

I remember someone said correctly, how Walt would have been fired quickly by current Administration.
Because they do not seem to want to develop creative guys, they just want drones.
Lasseter and those of his time who left Disney did so decades ago. It's a completely different set of leadership than now.

And of course Walt would be fired. Very few people in an employee capacity get to pick and chose their focus based on their whims.

But you are glossing over what brought on that change for Disneyland in 2005 - LEADERSHIP CHANGE. The 50th anniversary was simply the vehicle Ouimet used to jump start the park out of it's dark era. It was the change in leadership and mentality towards the parks that actually fueled the turnaround - not that it was because of an anniversary.

The turnaround was in leadership -- not due to the anniversary. The former was just a vehicle of change, not the motivation.

And you will note Iger bounced Matt Ouimet out of TWDC... So the message goes out 'Creative Types NOT welcome at Today's Disney'

The Disney Quest ones are.

First, they're not the same size and can't handle the same crowds as the star tors/body wars simulators do.

Also…

Those simulators won't be available until at least May or June of next year at the earliest.

Makes better sense that if you are going to do some side of refurbish involving the inside out property then I would prefer something new.

I would too, but with the huge investment going to DHS. I can picture them going to cheap overlays in Epcot.

I think the technology at Disney Quest is so out of date that the best we can hope for is that some of the games are fitted into the amusement arcades already on property at the resorts.

The simulator type attractions are not fit for purpose in a theme park. To be fair, Sum of All Thrills has horrible capacity and it is only a small relatively unadvertised attraction. The thought of similar technology in a major attraction such as an Inside Out themed ride would likely cause chaos, particularly as Epcot is starved of anything new.

I think Frozenstrom will cause mass hysteria when it opens unless they've found a way of massively increasing the capacity.

They could take all of the arcardes and simulators from Disney Quest and install them into Innoventions West. They could rename that side of Innoventions to Disney's Quest for Innovention. It could highlight 90's tech and fit right into the way Disney throws together things haphazardly*.

*-see Innoventions West Hall Courtyard-a-teria. or they can call it Hoop-Dee-Doo Cluster Review.

If you wait for 30 minutes for Anna and Elsa without moving, does that suggest they are popular or not?
Swing and miss, completely different approaches and capacity (and loading type) as @PhotoDave219 said.
I would expect people to be moving in and out constantly from Disney Quest.

He said he was waiting for LaNouba, not DQ. He saw no one going in or out of DQ.

correct! sorry if I was not clear.

Oh Norway will be a nightmare, They are building the Frozen M&G there too I believe. But it should draw some capacity heat from MK.

Cant be worse than Epcot's Test Track's Playstation 1 graphics on the simulators. Right?

Which ones? None of them are futuristic anymore as the tech is 15-20 years old so don't fit in Future World. Nothing was educational, it was all designed to be fun. Sum of All Thrills in Innoventions combine Maths and rollercoasters so that is a perfect fit there but I can't see what value anything at DQ would add to futureworld other than entertainment.

It's a great big beautiful yesterday?

I don't believe it actually will pull significant crowds away from MK unfortunately.

I honestly can't imagine people reducing their number of days at MK to visit Epcot instead due to that one attraction.

The thing is, they will still go to Epcot, and on the day they do visit, there's every chance Frozenstrom will be on their todo list and with such low capacity it's going to be a hot mess exactly 15 minutes after rope drop.

I disagree the frozen M&G is the most popular attraction at MK , people will follow it to Epcot. May just mean more hopping but should help crowds at MK and make it worst in Norway.
