You do know "Wakanda" is not a real place and if it was why would English be it's official language ?
Movie is an over the top, derivative fantasy full of plot holes that make no sense. For example how does a "magic meteor" led to an ultra advanced society.

On the top on that it is thinly veiled political film.

Building walls is bad.
How our society oppresses etc....

Yes I seen it will not watch it again.

That is completely your opinion however you are in the very small minority of people disliking it. This has been a fantasticly reviewed movie and most people seem to absolutely love it.

Sorry, I just don't get the whole super hero thing. Every movie is the same. Some muscular beast of a man saves the world from a monster or terrible person, its mindless. Just my 2 cents. I'll admit, that most Disney classics have the same notion but a much better story arc in my mind. This is why I loved Epcot of the hey day. No BS, just education and fun.

Are you saying that based on actually SEEING the recent MCU movies, because I feel those are FAR from what actually happens in them.

I have never been a comic book reader or fan (just never interested me), however the MCU films are, in general, brilliant.

So can we assume that “Wakanda” will move into AK in the coming years? A follow up announcement after SWL and when Pandora’s newness has worn off and it’s AK’s turn again for big news?
I had the same fear while watching the movie but thankfully the current agreement with Comcast/Universal wouldn't allow for it. I would welcome a dedicated Marvel area in DHS or even MK, but please keep them out of DAK.

Yes, I have watched more than I wish to admit. My Nephew is a big fan of all things Marvel, and its hard for me to say no when he likes to watch them with me. I don't hate them, they are admittedly entertaining, I just simply don't think they belong in place like Epcot. If there were ever real talks of a 5th gate, throw them all in there, 6 flag it up if they want, just don't touch Epcot anymore than they have already.

Black Panther is now going down as one of the most massive movie openings in history, now within a hair of the opening weekend for Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. This isn't just a massive megahit, it's a pop cultural phenomenon. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/h...nd-box-office-record-shattering-debut-1085932

Meanwhile, at Disneyland... the wait times for the new Black Panther meet n' greet with his shaved-head lady bodyguards are over 90 minutes long this weekend. I will forever be fascinated by the Marvel contract that lets them do whatever they want at Disneyland, while at Disney World a giant star like Black Panther is Persona Non Grata.

I agree. It is time for something to be done. Renegotiate a deal that is beneficial to both sides. Marvel should have the right to maximize their profits. Disney should take Universal to arbitration and demand Universal produce something with Black Panther or give up the rights to that character. I would still like Universal to keep rights to what they have in Orlando but they should have to use them or lose them. The way it is now is bad for the Marvel fans.

They really belong in a 3rd gate for California, and in DHS for Florida (though I will still argue that Guardians could have replaced Stitch). Epcot wasn’t the place for them at all.

As for the movies being similar- like you, I’m worn out with the ‘Big Bad wants to conquer the earth with his/her superpowers’, which is why I think the villains from Daredevil: season 1, Jessica Jones (jury is out on Season 2 for another month), and Spider-Man: Homecoming all work better than 98% of Marvel’s other villains (except for Loki). Black Panther is really a breath of fresh air. No infinity stone drama, a great villain, amazing female characters. Really solid movie.

Why do you think the hero is called Black Panther...the character was created from politics.

Nothing is the contract would require Universal to meet that demand.

Oh no, how will Marvel fans ever survive????

BOO. HOO.

If you Marvel fans can't get your men-in-tights fix at Universal, then seek professional help. WDW is WALT DISNEY WORLD. It is not MARVEL WORLD. Most people go to Disney parks to see real DISNEY, not Robert Iger's acquisitions. It's bad enough the raccoon and talking asparagus stalk are invading Epcot. Thank god Universal isn't going to give up its Marvel rights, and is unlikely to let them lapse. That will keep WDW, at least, happily testosterone-laden-power-fantasy-free. Hallelujah!

Disney could work out a promotional package deal with UNI, where there are M&Gs and entertainment with characters from recent and upcoming films, if they wanted to. That’s on them.
