or at least I wish they would go back to having them in the national costumes of the world showcase pavilions, Donald is the only one they do that with anymore. Minnie use to be represent Japan, Mickey Canada and US, Goofy in Norway, ChipnDale in China, etc.....

I actually thought it was very sweet when they used to do that... But I hated that giant Meet and Greet thing they did in Future World... It took every ounce of charm out of meeting the characters...

I think the new pin central will open with the new entry plaza.

They have to leave some areas open so crowds can access WS. Pin Central will be removed after the new store opens. IMO.

It isn't surprising. A while ago it was made clear on Disney's site that Pin Central and Art of Disney weren't moving until the Winter.

Yes!! They need a bunch more meet and greets in Epcot that use up FP+. We know you love the M&G’s.

yeah that's what I'm thinking. I guess we should be happy they might work quickly on this and not drag it out forever. If they get this demo done and we start seeing the new festival center getting built by the end of the year that would be pretty cool. (even if we'll never get to go inside the center cause we can't afford it

I wanted to pay my respects to old Epcot...I’ve had a lot of great memories since I was a kid there. Overall though, I’m excited for these changes and am ready for the new Epcot! How long are we expecting it to take to construct the new entrance (and by that I mean the areas that don’t require new structures such as the revised entrance and lead up to world showcase).

The new map shows only the southern part of Innoventions West being grass'd. I imagine it'll get torn down earlier.

Hong Kong Disneyland already updated their park flyover in the Iron Man ride, and the park changes aren't even finished.

I'm sure they'll update this too before the new FW is finished

I still can't believe they're shooting off fireworks from the parking lot. I get why they did it but it would make a lot more sense to do a close flyby of SSE and have fireworks over the lagoon.
