We hear so many different voices on the attractions, shows, etc. at the parks. Some of them really make whatever we're listening to more enjoyable and also create a sense of nostalgia sometimes. So, who is your favorite, or who do you think has the best sounding voice in the parks???

From UoE, Corey Burton (great vocals) and Johnny Gilbert (the only announcer who has ever actually announced my name); and from ToT, the faux-Rod Serling (nostalgia).

Jeremy Irons would be on the list if it were compiled about five years ago...

Julie Andrews has one of the most recognizable voices on the planet I think. But hearing her in Disney is like magic. Her voice is perfect for One Man's Dream and I loved it at the beginning of the Share A Dream Come True Parade. I've always looked at her like the First Lady of Disney...but I could be a bit biased. :)

Gotta go with the "Voice of the Jungle", Albert Awol, especially since the speakers that broadcast into Adventureland were fixed a few years ago.

I think Paul Frees and Thurl Ravenscroft have the most recognizeable voices, since in their hay day they both did voice overs for everything from Disney Park Attractions, to commercials, to cartoons, to movies, etc...

Informational Tidbits:

- Paul Frees did voice over work for many of the old Rankin/Bass stop motion Christmas films from the 60's and 70's. (Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolph's shiny new year, etc...)

-Thrul Ravenscroft was once the voice of Tony the Tiger

Thurl, Paul Frees, and Jack Wagner get my votes -- especially out here in DL. You can't walk 5 feet without hearing one of 'em!

That's my vote... she's practically perfect in EVERY way!

I have to go with the voices of COP. You have Jean that is the creator of The Christmas Story. Then you have Mel that did all the Looney Tune classic. In fact, I think the outside sign of COP should state the COP featuring Jean and Mel. Those are classic voices that are no longer with us.
