Best place to eat Lunch at Epcot

In my personal and not-often-shared opinion, it's the Coral Reef. I've been there four times, twice for lunch. On each trip I've had a different seafood dish and loved them all. If you like fish, it's a great place for a light lunch, and it's a good midday break from touring the park.

Well for us, we usually use a QS for lunch; so our place is Sunshine Seasons.
Great food and good choices. You can always just walk up and get what you need without waiting a long time.

IMHO
Sit down:
Biergarten – Buffet or Le Cellier New York Strip
Walk up:
Yorkshire Country - fish and chips
Sunshine seasons;
Asian - Mongolian beef
Sandwich – Turkey & Monterey cheese on foccacia bread
American – Rotisserie chicken

We have been to WDW 11 times and have never eaten here....but I have already put Coral Reef on my list for lunch in August 2011. I will try this place!!!!

I second this one. We really like everything about this place from the food to the location.

For a table service meal, I would have to say Le Cellier. I remember reading that you know a place is good when you see Disney executives going there for lunch.

Another great QS option is Boulangerie Patisserie at the France pavilion. A wonderful selection of sanwiches, meat and cheese platters, deserts, and of course wine and champagnes available close by.....:)

For full service:
So many choices but would say Le Cellier. Very good food, beautiful place but hard to get in.

For counter service:
Again so many choices. I had great counter service in Morocco and plan to again on our next trip. There are so many choices for great counter service in World Showcase and everybody's taste in ethnic foods are different so would assume lots of different people would have lots of different answers....

QS place is Sunshine Seasons. I usually get food from the Asian food station and a Key Lime Pie for dessert.
Sit down it too hard to pick. They all have something great about them. I eat at Coral Reef every year because I like the atmosphere, but the food is just ok. The WS has a lot of great sit down places.

You can't go wrong looking for food in Epcot. It's the best place for food. More than half of my ADRs are usually in Epcot.

SIT DOWN
I would try Via Napoli...should be able to get a spot there since it's relatively new. And it's pizza but not the same pizza you find all over Disney. For a pizza lover like myself...this is on my list of ADRs for my next trip.

Teppan Edo at Japan is a great sit down. Basic hibachi food/show but it's delicious.

Le Cellier is amazing. But very hard to get into. Filet Mignon and I substitute to get the cream cheesed mashed...so good!

Coral Reef is fantastic. Atmosphere is unlike any other and good food too.

COUNTER SERVICE
again...can't go wrong with food at Epcot.

Sunshine Seasons is a great way to fill the time between a Soarin fastpass wait time. and the food is always on par.

I enjoy Lotus Blossom Cafe in China. Always have a good meal there.

I can't say I've personally done it but I hear the Yakitori House in Japan has excellent sushi and the food is always fresh.

All in all...I'd say almost anywhere in World Showcase is a safe bet! Have fun!

My vote goes here as well. Take the ferry across as soon as they start (around 11) and you will have the pavillion and restaurant to yourself. The fresh food is delicious and they have a nice courtyard style eating area, secluded from the rest of the park.

LOVE the lamb wrap at Tangierine Cafe in Morocco.
Avoid the sushi at Tokyo Dining. Absolutely horrible :hurl: but maybe I'm just a sushi snob.

I agree, the lamb there was good the last time we tried it.

Japan - We have an Udon dish most of the time. Had sushi there once, and found it to be "OK".

Sunshine Seasons - We usually have something from the Asian Food counter. While sometimes high in sodium, the portions are good enough to fill up for lunch but not put you in a food coma.

Electric Umbrella - Burgers, burgers, burgers.

Love love love the Yakitori House. chicken skewers. Yum.

We usually end up in Sunshine Seasons, though because there is something for everyone.

We had the new Mexico QS this last September and it would outstanding. I would recommend trying that. Far superior to the prior place. The beef tacos and the loaded nachos were great.

Sometimes, I actually like to leave Epcot and walk over to Espn Club and have some wings and a beer. Other than that if I stay in Epcot I usually eat lunch either at Rose and Crown and have some fish and chips, or just do a CS at the American Pavillion.

For a counter service, we like the Electric Umbrella. I've been told Liberty Inn is really good too (haven't been there yet but are doing it next trip).

For sit down it will always be Coral Reef whether it's lunch or dinner.
