Best Attraction in the World: Epcot

Alright, time to determine our best attraction in all of Epcot, from the list of winners of the individual areas.

World Showcase: The American Adventure
Future World West: Soarin'
Future World East: Spaceship Earth

This was really hard. I went with American Adventure. I know, I know... SSE is a great one too but with the way that ending portion is, not a big fan of the narration (love Dench, I just think there were better options out there).

It doesn't bother with much theming. It doesn't fit in Florida. It has an awful, boring line and really poor capacity and only loosely fits the concept of its pavilion. It wouldn't even beging to challenge my favorite attraction in any other park (which is more just an example of how Epcot is not about the individual attractions). But my vote is still, weird as it feels, Soarin'.

Might have been SE before the renovation. And I definitely would have voted for the Seas in the last round before Nemo.

I'm a history major so...

Do I have problems with it? Yes, but it still conveys the message it set out to do.

Soarin' get my vote. I know the wait times can be outrageous, but I love this ride. The soundtrack makes it even more enjoyable.

American Adventure by far.

If you're actually going for best attraction, technology, story, scope, etc, neither of the other choices even come close to AA. I know it won't win because people are oddly obsessed with the other two, but AA is by far the best.

I chose Spaceship Earth. I love Soarin' but I've never actually ridden it at Epcot. Just at DCA.

SSE is just classic and it's so detailed you can catch something new every time you're on it.

Great post...I feel the same way, and think it's slightly overrated especially for the wait times, yet I also picked Soarin' :shrug:

I had to go with SSE. I LOVE all three attractions, but SSE is one of those definitive WDW attractions.
As much as I love all three, I'm surprised to see how close it is...

So... if this ends in a tie will you just do a new poll with only SSE and Soarin' as competitors?
And, yes, this is in part a bump so more people vote so it DOESN'T end in a tie...

I had to go with Soarin', and I know my wife would also choose that.
SSE seems to be one of my sons favorites...but I think that has more to do with his getting a kick out of making faces at the camera and having it posted BIG at the end of the ride for everybody else to see.

Is it just me, or should American Adventure not even be included with Soarin' or SSE; I'm sorry, but it doesn't even compare to those two.
