Actually ... shock horror it depends who the author is ... there are three sites which I would go "HaHa! Not happening", there would be two more which I would say "there is something in that ... possibly". Then there is a reserved special group which I would go, "that sounds realistic enough to happen".

Walt Disney World's own Main Street Electrical Parade and SpectroMagic are indeed both gone. Last I read the MSEP went to Hong Kong, though I have never definitively heard from a trusted source whether it was scrapped or is still there, and of course, SpectroMagic was scrapped in Florida last year. The MSEP currently performing at WDW is he Disneyland copy of the parade.

Could WDW get an overseas nighttime parade if they shipped off Msep?

Fantillusion? I've wondered about that too, particularly if Paris isn't using it.

Again, nope....I would take a I will believe it when I see it approach. All we have to go on is what history has told us. What history has told us is that TWDC and TDO cut, cut, cut. Avatarland? I also have a wait and see approach. WIll it be awesome or will it be a scaled down "B" ticket ride and a M&G....we will see.

Yeah that's the one I was thinking of.

Also, with so much nighttime entertainment at the MK why couldn't a nighttime parade run at DHS? Maybe not the best place though

If/when MSEP goes away, I don't expect a replacement. They'll probably just run FOF at night (probably not even every night).

I'd say that everyone can chill...

While MiceAge is great, they're certainly not the "God" of Disney news...likely this is all speculation and hearsay...or purposeful misinformation the company is using to throw people off...

If they'd cancel Star Wars over Avatar I'd be very surprised...and anyway we're probably looking at 2018/2019 before anything would be "visitable" anyway...which is plenty far off for the flambe to really hit the fan...and some of these corporate bozos could still be well on their way out before all of that...it's way early to call anything...and we probably should just be glad for what new crap we are getting...though some of it kinda sucks...

I'd also imagine that Disney wants to make sure the new movies "turn out" right...they know all too well that if they blow Star Wars, they're screwed...you can't screw up Star Wars...the fans will turn out in large droves to eat you...ala zombie apocalypse...:hungover:

I agree with you ... there is so much more going on behind the scenes that we don't know about ...

There are so many more creative and interesting projects that get the axe behind the scenes, budgets cut, projects put on hold, and bonuses handed out for inflating profit margins by trimming maintenance ... there is so much more we don't know about behind the scenes. I agree 100%

The one thing we do know (by using our eyes and ears) is nothing is coming to the parks at least for the next five years unless ... nah ... never mind ...

Again, I have multiple people telling me that there will not be a studios make over until the parking lot in main entrance issues are resolved. Those issues will not be addressed until Disney springs is finished is also what I'm being told.

So if you're mad about this, maybe you should get mad when we raise the issues of corporate compensation, the make up of the Board of Directors, and all the other business things that we bring up.

All of those issues directly impacts their corporate philosophy of the company which… Apparently is "the guests will always come"

What are the issues with the main entrance? Is it simply the fact that the main entrance off of World Drive borders the existing park and needs to be moved to allow for expansion? Or, is there another issue?

So when you all say"nothing" is coming ....I assume you all want an e ticket before it's "something" right?

Well new FOTLK, New Harambe, and SDMT should all be open this Summer...but yup after that

three years...if their 2017 opening for Avatar is correct
