POV with intact ride audio:

Still Lame. The AI is too chipper, Spidey is still not quipy but just saying generic "let's go" type things. and there is really not that much music still. and I am confussed, we are in the web building right? so how did we get into the PYM Kitcthen and the Guardians Tower when we haven't left the building??

I had low expectations for this (like forgot it opened super low expectations)... so I'm not particularly disappointed.

Still think it's an improvement on BugsLand, which is something I walked through, but also wish it was designed more cohesively with its big ride on time.

I'm avoiding watching ride footage like always. But is Spiderman better than Hong Kong's Ant Man attraction is my burning question?

Ant-Man ride looks better to be honest.

Okay, it's quite a bit better with the audio and music. At the very least, the attraction, like, makes sense now.

And the childlike script helps clarify that this is an experience intended for young children and their parents.

Looks like they have a standby queue set up that begins around Carthay Circle and weaves through the World of Color viewing area. Expect this to be full today, and remain in tact until June 15th at the latest. Good luck to any attendees!

The ride mentions that there are tunnels. So we leave the building after the first screen.

I will say that Midway Mania's simplicity is its strength. We want to unlock new targets, but the game is different at each stop. This seems like we're playing a video game that already has predetermined moments regardless of how we play. And every screen is the same game, just a different setting. I think if they had leaned into the different locations and had Ant Man show up in the Pym labs, Rocket and Groot for Guardians, and Black Widow/Captain America for the Quinjet, you'd at least have variations in quips and dialogue.

All in all, the ride seems meh. Not terrible, but I honestly do think Midway Mania is a little more fun looking.
