Any Australia expansion should involve moving the Finding Nemo show to that land and replacing it with a more appropriate show (based on the Good Dinosaur maybe?) in Dinoland.

I would think any Australia expansion to DAK would be more "Outback" themed as opposed to being in Sydney or Melbourne.

There's also land if desired. To the west of the park (between Africa and Pandora) could easily be a full sized land if the redirected an access road and some backstage buildings.

That said, the undeveloped land between Africa and Asia is pretty massive and could probably fit two lands depending on what stuff would be added.

That said, the undeveloped land between Africa and Asia is pretty massive and could probably fit two lands depending on what stuff would be added.

i think you ll more than likely see that as a path to and from Pandora to Harambe, with the other parts as back stage

Oh, that's what I expect as well. But if they wanted to add a new land there (at some indeterminate time int he future) they could do so.

I am a little surprised they didn't put a smaller attraction in Africa near the FOTLK theater though. There's easily room there and it would have helped out with DAK's capacity issues, especially once it goes to longer hours.

Although I would love the fantasyland part, I still feel as though it would change the theme and environment to much and I want to stray from Dinorama as much as possible. However and Australia or northern hemisphere animals area would be great!

I still think Finding Nemo being a musical and all could easily be relocated to Hollywood Studios. No more pixar or characters are really needed at epcot! Just my opinion

Do we know what the hours will be like? In the summer it doesn't really get dark til after 9 most nights and I feel to fully appreciate Pandora at night as well as the show, I would assume it would have to be open pretty late!

I'm new on here and trying to read and catch up with all the AvatarLand info, I just want to make sure I know the latest, sorry if this is incorrect/has been repeated over and over already...

- The land is supposed to open in 2017 (early?)
- There is a simulator ride where your seat is going to be a "banshee" from the movie, the ride will be similar to Soarin'
- There is going to be a river cruise type boat ride, that might contain some drops

Is that all we know? Any plans for a 3rd major ride or any smaller rides? Any other major details we know at this point?

From what I know you have everything down. As for another ride, I'm sure they will make the land itself an attraction to walk through and experience. I heard a while ago rumors that of it takes well to the crowds and gets a good review, then they might see about adding an additional attraction.

Also there is supposed to be some sort of restaurant coming, not much detail on that yet.

- Simulator ride is "ride vehicle in front of a large screen" but beyond that we don't know much more for sure. Iger made a statement that it felt like you were riding a banshee but it's not entirely clear I the seat will actually be a banshee.
- All we know about the other ride is that it is a boat ride or some sort.

Id be amazing if you could fly 2 different things in the theatre.
Imagine one flying in the "rebel" helicopter. and the other in the banshee.
