AVATAR land - the specifics

So let me make sure I understand this.... They did not build a ride for the Flight of the Banshees.
Now we will sit in a seat and wear a Virtual Reality headset but the ride will go nowhere?
Am I right?

It sounds like Soarin' mixed with a VR headset that functions as additional augmented reality to make you forget you're in a theater and pretend that you really have become your blue kitty fursona.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but no and no. They're just regular old 3D glasses and there's a big screen in front of you.

You're either trying to hard, or a silly classic little troll.

Hang on, you talk about the 2%. Yet you claim you get your "steak" in golden corral? lmao :joyfull:

LOL Obviously you cant read. I suggest you locate all my messages. I am part of the 2 percent, academically/culturally/socially. However, I refuse to pay anything over $50 for a complete meal (apps, entree, drink, ice cream). I just posted that I have been to Ruth's steakhouse, of course! I do not pay for it though lol. Different story

So you are sitting in a chair wearing 3D glasses. That just doesn't make sense.

I have a sneaking suspicion that...like the movie "Avatar" itself....once you get past how pretty PandoraLand looks....there isn't much substance there to keep you very interested on repeat visits.

I really hope I'm wrong.

Well, you're not sitting in a chair wearing 3D glasses while sitting still in the quiet and staring at a blank wall. It's a motion simulator overlooking a giant screen.

You're sitting in a chair wearing 3D glasses only as much as you're sitting in a chair wearing 3D glasses in Star Tours. It's just that it's more of a Soarin' configuration. Makes sense to me.

Should try the pizzas next time I'm there. Any specific area?
Last time I was there as shaperone to my niece's birthday present (I gave her an all paid trip to both WDW and UNI). And she was all there for Harry Potter. So I didnt try much food outside the themed food at UNI's HP (both sides) and some of the outer ring restaurants in IOA and City Walk.
Any place really. It's about the quality of what you could get at Costco/BJ's.
