That looks like they attached a sum of all thrills seat to a Soarin ride system. I really hope it's nothing like sum of all thrills cause that type of simulator makes me want to vomit. Was hoping for more of a Soarin style ride where your looking at a large screen. Is this ride in 3-d?

To answer your other question: it's a giant shared screen like Soarin, not a close up screen like Sum of All Thrills.

It is a Soarin style ride.

Yes, it sounds like it will have a lot more movement. And there are rumors that the screens themselves move as well.

Typically, the media event is The Grand Opening.

Unless they screw it up like 7DMT then it is an announcement of an announcement of an eventual grand opening.....maybe. (See: RoL).

Well, it sounds like they have already been cycling the rides. So, 4 months should probably be enough time to put any finishing touches on them and have them ready for softs for the media if nothing else.
