I still am. So many better options. Oh well. Hope it's good.

Nothing wrong with that. I'd have preferred Beastly Kingdomme myself or even Mysterious Island but I'm not at all against Pandora. It looks visually incredible. The rides, well, we will see I suppose. I think they look impressive as well.

It does, but like NFL what's style without substance?

A new QSR that I've mentioned before and less than ten minutes new ride time. For around a billion.

Yeah it seems like that could be the case. Not trying to be negative, I clearly haven't ridden either ride, but I can't help but worry. I mean, isn't Mermaid longer than the Pandora boat ride? Just saying .... but if I'm completely immersed I'm fine with the boat ride. Wish it could have been longer because it looks like it could be very well done. Soarin over Pandora, well ... we'll see on that one.

I mean no one of this site has walked through the land, been of both rides and experienced all of the details of Pandora. People should wait till they actually set foot in the area before making their comments.

Bruce Vaughn was laid off after Shanghai was complete? And Tom Staggs I guess resigned.
Bruce Vaughn was not directly part of Pandora. He was a long disliked head of Walt Disney Imagineering who was replaced by the guy who promised to keep Shanghai Disney Resort's costs in control by a adopting a Universal Creative type model and did not deliver on that promise. Tom Staggs was never a parks guy and never part of Walt Disney Imagineering. He sucked it up and took the Chairman job because he bought into the nonsense that the job was about preparing him to be CEO. They are, at best, mild scapegoats for the problems that have plagued Pandora.

No, some can make valid points from what they already know. And then you can decide if they're worthy of being listened to.

My wife made me rewind to watch the segment again and said it looked breathtaking. (She doesn't follow these boards) it was a nice surprise seeing the updates. No wonder Cameron was there and he looked pleased.
You might finish your Universal trip and decide to book another Orlando vacay for Avatar! I'll look out for the thread :)

Anyone watching the Christmas parade today, they just had a 5 minute segment on Pandora. The showed inside the boat ride and one of the FoP theaters. A ton of shots from inside the land also. Rohde, Cameron and of course Landau.
Who knows how far along they are with the project since it was shot last month when Cameron was there.

Hey guys, im Planning my next trip.
I can either go early may or mid-june.
Do you guys think pandora will be open by mid-june?

If not then id rather go early may to see the flower and garden festival.
