DAK AVATAR land construction progress

Not sure if this has been posted yet but Enfilm's (Ed's) blueprints are typically quite accurate and based on actual plans:

Should help set some expectations regarding things being discussed here:
1. Length of boatride? Keep you expectations on the very short duration side.
2. Dedicated nature paths? There is a pathway under floating rocks/over water feature, but don't expect a Maharajah Jungle Trek. Something smaller than Tree of Life Gardens).
Very short as in 4 minutes or shorter than that?

All I can compare are ride building footprints and see that the boatride footprint is about 1/3 the size of Shanghai's PotC (approx 10-minute ride), so the math would put it at less than 4. There are other factors more important than footprint (set scale, queue, ride-speed), but I am expecting around or a little under 4mins from launch to stop, so as to be happily surprised if longer.

EDIT: Just saw Martin's post a page or two back saying cycle time is 3:56.

So, can anyone in the know comment on how accurate this map is? Seems relatively consistent with what we have learned and the model from D23. Certainly, we are all going to pick it up and comment so it might be nice to know that it actually is reflective of the planned final product.

I see on the blueprints there is a stage area in front of the show building. Does anyone know what will be there?

Yeah, the area labelled "stage" is interesting. The "development" photos by Disney showed a panel that said "Drum" or something like that and so I think we collectively have been assuming there would be some sort of musical show performed by Na'vi performers -- if so, that would likely be the location.

As an aside, I'm a little surprised there is no dedicated M&G area listed. Seems like it would be a no brainer for Disney, though perhaps they might have a more "walk around" concept for a Na'vi -- could work in a similar fashion as Divine. Or maybe there is a set M&G space, just not noted by the map creator.

I can't help but think Na'vi performers would look a bit cheesy especially compared to what we'll see in NRJ. I do have one question about that though, does anyone know if the AA will be true to size? Is it 9-10 feet tall?

That is very close, if not identical to what I have seen. I seem to recall a few more winding trails, but that is generally accurate.

Yes, it is, although I have only seen the torso up, so I am not shre if she will be sitting or standing (I think sitting)

I'll also say very very accurate.

@marni1971, just out of curiosity for some perspective/expectations, can you name a few rides that are in the ~4min ball park? Obviously I'd prefer a 10min ride, but at least it won't be like Mine Train (right?).
Thanks!
Gran Fiesta Tour is a little over 7 minutes for example. Living with the Land 15-16.

Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland and Dinosaur at DAK are in the "slightly under four minutes" category, for example. The major difference, however, is that those are fast-paced thrill rides, so you go through more track / past more scenes in that time compared with a slow boat ride with the same ride time. That's the real concern, I think.
