^ Possibly in the late 90s or early 2000s but not recently.

However it's still very highly rated, and numbers don't tell the full story anyway. For example KS is posted more on social media.

It boggles my mind that Tower of Terror is not on that list.

It falls right around or below Splash which is the last one I included. The problem is, it doesn't score as wonderfully with kids and seniors for some reason. Probably the horror aspect. If you just measure teens and young adults, it would fall in the middle of that list.

But again, in my opinion, ratings don't begin to tell the full story. It's an icon, it makes the park stronger, and it's the ride I've heard referenced most outside of these circles. Much like KS, it succeeds on the advertising front.

Anyway I didn't mean to veer the thread.

Someone posted on the inside universal boards that FOP got new, better glasses....no photos or anything else of them to confirm though.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I rode Flight for the first time last weekend, and while I didn't take any pictures, what I remember of the glasses looks nothing like pictures I've seen online. The ones I'm looking at right now on Google Image search look way bigger than what I remember, and I don't recall there being any opaque blue sections on the ones we wore.

None of us had any issues with sliding or fitment, including my father who wore his over eyeglasses.

Ok, we are going to WDW for the F&W half weekend and are doing AK the day of arrival. Have people been able to secure FoP FP's for their day of arrival at 60 days. I typically would plan AK later in the trip to ensure I could snag the the FoP FP.

was wondering if the platform that the "banshee" are on swings out and up like soaring does, or if a wall opens in front of you letting you view the screens?

Day of arrival is dicey. You have to be at 60 days and hitting the website right at 7 AM and be lucky. Most people report that at 60+3 there is no problem getting FoP FPs.

Thanks Mister Penguin! After thinking about it, I think the plan is at 7AM on 60 days out is to grab last day to ensure we get them and then go try to get day 1. With it being a runDisney weekend, I imagine there will be a lot of people checking in on that Thursday.

Unlike Soarin, riders in each theater board at one of three tiers of motion platforms, so the riders are already in position before the ride begins. Walls in front of each platform retract upwards and inwards, revealing the screen.

It will be difficult because everyone that checks in before you, will already have access to that day you arrive. You probably will be able to get fast passes, they will just be in the evening. However, for later in your trip, you’ll have no problem!

That seems about right from what I can remember. There's some hidden camera footage on YouTube too of people who left cameras running on the stowage shelves behind the vehicles.

Here's one of those videos. If you keep track of a person's head or a piece of the grating, it's not more than 4 ft. by my estimation.
