I think the anticipation on what the gift is as big as the anticipation of what Are You 23? is. I can just imagine the outrage if it turns out to be a pin or set of pins.

Or a frameable lithogragh of the number 23. :animwink:

I doubt it is a lithogragh of the #23 because ithe gift should be "from the archives"

Wouldnt be great if it is a dvd of the infamous Song of the South. I have never seen it
But Im hoping for a statue

I got my magazine, certificate, and welcome letter today. Ther was a little surprise. There was a D23 logo window decal that's about 2"x3". The welcome letter says that "Your exclusive Charter Year gift will follow shortly". So at least the decal isn't the surprise gift:lol:. I like the certificate. Gurgi is on it:sohappy:.

It would be cool if it was a WDCC piece but I think it would have to be a fairly special piece to kick off this club but I can't think of what it could be. There already is an Oswald piece with Walt Disney so I doubt it would be a piece with Oswald by himself. Plane Crazy and Steamboat Willie have already been done by WDCC, as have Sorcerer's Apprentice, Brave Little Tailor, and Mickey Mouse Club so I doubt it would be a Mickey piece. Jiminey Cricket is already the mascot of WDCS and what more can they do with Tinker Bell. Im having a horrible feeling that the collectible pin box that's in One Man's Dream might be at people's doorsteps.

Am I the ONLY one who noticed Tom Servo on the MST3K VHS in the top left hand corner of the picture? I'd rather have that then the lame poster. That and some over priced mag with recycled recipes and dull articles for $75 before everything else? No way.

For those that joined D23 I have a question. Was your membership card paper or did they atleast print them on the same plastic they print the hotel room keys on

So, if I'm getting my info correct, we're being given the opportunity to spend more money to join so we have the right to spend even more money.
