My bets on Alice then.
I'm hoping for the Poppins carousel where the horses go around a couple times and then leap off the carousel and into a dark ride trip through the countryside that ends in a thrilling race. That would be epic!
His original concept is a thing of beauty. Imagine what they could do with it using today's technology!Thats the idea that got Tony Baxter his job, basically.

Yeah, it's too cramped and the infrastructure is lousy. You been to Disneyland?
Actually it has more visitors as well, and seriously needs more attractions...All the parks need more attractions.Yes indeed I have! I'm well aware that DL has double the attractions of MK, that being said, that doesn't indicate that MK needs to have as many as DL.
I don't know... but I'm still wondering why they would ask me, "If you could change your feet, would you?"Is Brave even popular? Wasn't it one of Pixar's worst?
not bad, I agree Pinocchio in Italy, Tangled in Germany. Regardless, problem in that area is still its too narrow to bring even more people to that areaWhat I don't understand is why does everyone think Tangled is more deserving of a ride than something like Pinocchio. If you move Small world, it'd be more fitting to put Pinocchio in its vacant space. With Rapunzel's German heritage, put Tangled in Germany. But with that mentality, you could put Pinocchio in Italy. Actually that's perfect! Do those two attractions, keep the Small World ride below MK surface, build the proper facade and push it back. You would go up a level to reach the facade, going inside it would loop back around and descend into the small world loading zone. There, everyone wins!
We found it intimate.Yeah, it's too cramped and the infrastructure is lousy.
I just figured I'd complain. There are components of Disneyland that are oustanding, and other parts that are annoying and inconvenient relative to it's Walt Disney World counterparts. Something that really needs to happen is the entrance to the Tarzan Treehouse needs to move. Adventureland needs more room for guests to walk around. We found it intimate.
I wish this quote came from Marni. Would be a heck of a clue to what's coming.Well, if you ask me, this conversation is going merrily-merrily-merrily-merrily 'round to nowhere in particular...
I believe that's currently being addressed.I just figured I'd complain. I'm sure there was probably a proposal for a carousel and Jim ran with that. I think he hears a lot of very blue sky ideas. He gets some things right but more times than not ... but couldn't they do both? If they decide on something not Poppins for the ride, couldn't there be room for a beautiful Poppins carrousel and a nice D-ticket dark ride? I doubt we get two attractions though ... I'd be very disappointed if it was just a carousel or some flat ride or maze/walk-through but I believe all of those have been shot down, but again, I guess plans could change.
Maybe it's a Poppins' carousel on a Sword in the Stone dark boat ride through an Alice in Wonderland maze!
Seems like it.
While I'm sure the new Poppins movie will be good, I'd really hope it's classic Julie Andrews Poppins we get but I'm not holding my breath. Either way the world of Poppins would make for a great ride.
Just to clear up Jim's rumor for the sake of discussion, his rumor was a carousel in a Cherry Tree Lane adjacent park with Cherry Tree Lane setting up a Mary Poppins meet and greet, all based around the upcoming Mary Poppins Returns, specifically built around a scene with the Balloon Lady, played by Angela Lansbury.if it goes down from what has been discussed it really could be merely a carousel, a spinner, or walk-through maze... that would be a real disappointment...
I think Adventureland is the only real bottleneck of it's type in the park, but that park is intimate and detailed and lovely...I believe that's currently being addressed.
