Actually, Rain, I can kind of see that. When they don't know who she is she seems kind of annoyed. She gets this look on her face...but I agree, I didn't know her name until I started watching and even then I've forgotten it quite a few times since.
I do think she's a nice fit though. Which I was really worried about. I didn't know how I'd like a 4th judge.

I thought he was ten times more girly than Jason. :lol: He was pretty much just as stoned though.
As for Kara, well, I'll give her more time before I make a judgemet, but so far she hasn't made an impression on me yet.
BTW, I loved the cheerleaders. They had the biggest laughs of the night. :lol:

So far I like Kara. It works because no one knows her. People (bikini girl included), don't know her creditentials. Kara has always worked behind the scenes and done background vocals. So the contestants end up putting thier foot into mouth. As others as stated, it helps she is hott.
However, it seems easlier to get into Hollywood as I think it only takes two to go through which is 50%. Before it was 2 out of 3 (66%) chance

See above...I think that all it takes is 2 to say yes. We saw that happen on the first episode this year.
That first girl from Puerto Rico got on my nerves every time she laughed...she won't make it past the Hollywood round...

OMG! I agree. That Puerto Rican girl will definitely not make it in Hollywood week. She was just too much...WAY too much.
I liked quite a few of the people they put to Hollywood that we got to see tonight though.

The doctor girl was hilarious!:lol: Its kinda funny how the ones who weren't necessarily the worst singers who end up being the funniest this year.
So apparantly there is an episode tonight finishing up the auditions...:sohappy:

Although, this year, they really have been showcasing a lot of the better talent. So, that's good. And surprisingly there hasn't been any real major trainwrecks. Nobody that's really stood out in my mind as man, that was awful!!! Nobody like William Hung or the guy who sang Let My People Go or anything.

Who knows, maybe there will be tonite. I'm still waiting for one that will top Leroy Well's audition from season 4. That was truly the most awesome audition ever! :lol: Same goes for that "Red" guy from season 6.
One thing I am getting tired of though is the "inspirational story" contestants with the sappy piano music in the background. Its just getting a bit old. :shrug:

Hopefully, the Hollywood contestants whose auditions were not shown have some talent ... 'cause the ones who made it through and were shown were not real good. Not a single one blew me away and made me think they are the one to beat.

Kinda? :lol: I didn't know much about her when she started, but she's got some credentials, she can sing, and she is absolutely beautiful!
If it's a tie, Simon had tiebreaker rights.
I never thought I would ever agree with you on anything, but I am now.
GenX, I also agree with you--there is no one that stuck out in the auditions as being a potential winner.
And, did anyone notice that we got a lot of "you're a decent singer, BUT THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT YOU THAT I REALLY LIKE". Simon used to talk about the "it" factor, and it seemed like they were trying to find people with some personality this season. :shrug:
