I find it amusing Disney is unsure of whether to add Star Wars Land.

Universal would have a whole area ready by Christmas 2015 if they got their hands on it

Theres another rumor thread about a new parade at DHS and an UP dark ride....I would take all of this with a grain of salt at least until spirit has some concrete info to share. Maybe and hopefully they are realizing this park is in dire need of change and additions and finally making a move soon. But woulnd't surprise me if Idol sits there shuttered for who knows how long knowing TDO. Or maybe Burbank is stepping in.

I don't want to take this off topic but what happened to Carsland. I know it was never green lit but there was talks...! I had a baby and I've been out of the loop, apologies if this has already been beat to death on here.

As for AIE, never saw it and I'm not sad to see it go. But like other posters I don't want to see it sit empty. DHS is critical now as it is.

Side note - what happened to the rumors that VoTLM and Beauty and the Beast where going bye, bye?. And possibly a Tangled show to replace BatB!?!

Since it was put on the front page of this site I would say it's a pretty solid rumor. Steve doesn't post rumors without being pretty certain.

DHS could use $1.5 billion to fix it up. Epcot isn't far behind ($1.25 billion) MK and AK could use $1 billion each as well. In general, WDW needs to get moving for the 50th with how slow they go. Pandora and Disney Springs are great, but too little, too late.

I agree, they have sat on their cash for far too long now and have misused it such as the nextgen expense mess.

I think Cars was green lit, it just never went through because they wanted it to stay original and focus on SW....we saw how the latter played out... As for the shows, your guess is as good as mine

Really? I knew it was a strong rumor but thought nothing more. I have to admit I'm a little sad, I for one was looking forward to Carsland (even if it was a smaller version) coming to DHS. I think it's the perfect fit in Pixar Place and would add that much needed family attraction to the line-up.

True, and they were going to water it down to a cheaper version, so I would rather not see it at all unless it had been the full original.
