USJ is getting the Mario area including Mario Kart. No Donkey Kong. USH will have the smallest area, but including Mario Kart.

USO plans may or may not be finalized for the 3rd park, but originally they were the only ones slated for Donkey Kong plus Mario.

Check out the actual track under the fake one. Looks just like this patent.

Interesting analysis, I feel like it’s pretty spot on. Only thing that’s really missing from SNW is a gift shop in the Mario section (maybe he’s right about Mario Motors being the exit shop to Mario Kart) I’m personally hoping that Peach’s castle will be a baker, but I could see that being the big gift shop.

Have any insiders stated where the tiny, quick, and nimble version of the land will be. This guy doing a construction update seems to think, that it’ll be where many people thought the Secret Lives of Pets ride was to be built, before it was announced for the Upper Lot. Is this just an assumption of Mini SNW or is there proof that mini SNW will be in this location?

The construction site on the lower lot is believed to be the Mario Kart ride. West coasters will beat the East on this one ride at least. You’ll soon be able to compare the leaked track layout with what they are building as you can start to see a track forming.

No I am not. Many who have ridden have confirmed the difference.
Not true actually. At night it is big spotlights you can see through the water lighting the tank. You can see night sky between those beams.
After looking at more videos you would seem to be right. It is just really hard to see the difference as it is nearly just as bright as the daytime version. But that does not excuse the night time only T-Rex enclosure. ;)

The Nintendo Land stuff has always been interesting to follow because, despite the large library of iconic characters to pull from, they seem to be pretty focused on Mario stuff (with the DK offshoot). I get why Pokemon is left out for now (Pokemon is actually owned by 3 separate companies, rather than just Nintendo), but leaving out Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, and even newer stuff like Splatoon (which seems almost custom-made for a theme park attraction) is certainly a choice at the moment.

What's the news on Disney's Marvel Land? I haven't heard about those plans? And yes, super excited to see Nintendo Land come to life too!

Marvel Land was/is supposed to be an expansion and repurposing of Bug's Land and Hollywood Land in DCA. The rumor was a large attraction near Monster's Inc. However all of this was dependent on Disney's Eastern Gateway project -- a new eastern parking garage and repurposing of the eastern resort entrance. This would have allowed DCA to expand a bit north. Since all of that is on hold, not sure what is happening with this project. I can't imagine Disney will leave Bug's Land closed for years waiting for the Eastern Gateway, but....it is Disney.

Back to Universal, I'm kinda bummed they are going to open some version of Nintendo Land in Hollywood. I would much rather wait for the real thing in Orlando and have something new and unique in Hollywood.
