The forest upstairs is confusing to me as well. I'm trying to figure out what they were going for, but I think the first scene is well done.

and will always be lazy and unconvincing and cheap. when studios use screens instead of AA's to me it means they wanted to save money and did not care about the ride or final product at all.Screens are cheaper than physical sets and AAs.
The only change I kinda like is the dead Pterodactyl, but even that feels too gorey. I'm not a prude but it's sort of crossing the line into trashy.
The aquarium is decent, maybe even good but it’s hard to tell on YouTube... it should come much later though... there should be the gates and anticipation and growing sense of wonder... now dead and gone
Unsurprisingly, the Mosasaurus scene does not even change at night. It continues to be illuminated by sunlight.
Are you being sarcastic? It looks exactly the same.Not true actually. At night it is big spotlights you can see through the water lighting the tank. You can see night sky between those beams.
