I remember it being Jurassic Park River Adventure. Even referred to as that in the queue videos.
IIRC it's always had a lot of identity confusion (kind of like Midway Mania)

I think the official name in CA has always been Jurassic Park: The Ride while elsewhere it has always been River Adventure, however the differences in naming have not always been consistent across branding materials.

And then we have Six Flags, a company that happily assigns the same name to completely different rides at their various parks. Because they can't be bothered to come up with new names and every park needs to have something named Joker, Batman, Riddler, etc.

They should name their rides after their advertisers. DISCOVERY CARD THE RIDE.
(EDIT)
I forgot that Blackpool Pleasure Beach has actually done this: Playstation: The Ride...Pepsi Max the Big One....

What about ESPN? Wasn’t expecting that logo in a Six Flags survey

I find it really interesting that an 11 year old flight simulator based on The Simpsons has a longer wait time than a six week old flight simulator based on Star Wars.

This can't be what Disney had in mind for their Billion dollar new land.

Yeah, but Universal has less attractions... or some other excuse.

It’s actually much older than 11 years old. BTTF: The Ride. Star tours is even older.

Star Tours - The Adventures Continue currently has a 25 minute wait, versus a 70 minute wait currently for The Simpson Ride. https://www.laughingplace.com/w/p/universal-studios-hollywood-current-wait-times/

Not sure what that means, other than Disneyland has unseasonably low wait times and other SoCal theme parks seem to be very busy.

It just shows how some idiots on a few Disney forum boards spouting that SWL will be packed for years can scare away the sheapole tourists. If you want to keep it this way, keep chanting that the place is going to packed and enjoy.

Both Disney owned properties so they're coming out on top.

Oh, that's right! I wonder how this all works out over the next few years?

Do they change Soarin' into The Simpsons Ride? Does Disney add Simpsons characters to the parks somehow? I know they'll be at D23 Expo next month, but can't wait to see how this all works out over the mid-term.

I imagine though that if Disney does add The Simpsons into their parks they won't actually be able to call it The Simpsons. Legally they'll have to refer to it as Funny Residents of Springfield or something.

The Simpons isn't exactly on-brand for Disney. I'm still surprised they're even putting them on Disney+. Remember when Eisner wanted to make movies that weren't on-brand for Disney so he put them out through different studios owned by but not associated with Disney? Imagine if Iger cared that much about the company's future and image.

Oh PLEASE. Can we not push some false narrative here. UHS has a minor impact in the Theme Park world attendance wise. And with the few attractions they have, of course waits will be high. If Disneyland had the same number of attractions the waits would be astronomical.

Let's get some better arguments people.

I used to work at USH and I rarely saw wait times that high for some of the attractions there.

Well, their attendance has been rising as of late, for sure. But if people are trying to indicate that the high attendance somehow shows the park is more popular then Disneyland... or indicates something more then it does... I think it's a silly argument.

Even with lower then usual attendance, Disneyland likely has more people inside its gates then USH as we speak, and then couple in the sheer number of attractions Disneyland has compared to USH...
