Aside from the return of ET, another good option for a family friendly dark ride would be to use Pokemon. Less likely would be something like Don Bluth.
Oh I’d LOVE a Don Bluth property translated into a darkride. So many chances to create such a vibrant setting. Very akin to classic fantasyland attractions, which is something I’d love Universal to explore. Ever since ET left Universal has been lacking their own PotC imo, something tied into the legacy of the brand that also lends itself to an elaborate experience (physical sets, AAs, etc…). Pets almost accomplishes that but feels like it misses the mark in some areas

Looking at the concept art for the new coaster, the Duff beer garden and pizza place will go away. We just don't know what the front of the Simpsons across the way looks like.
Good spot, which has me wondering if Universal already has a replacement for the Simpsons plaza on deck. I recall you've floated some rumors for that.

I'd like to see a classic Monsters village and Monsters ride. However I think the Simpsons ride isn't grand enough for a classic Monsters ride.

How about a Battlestar Galatica ride? We could be in a dogfight with Cylons. Maybe something along the lines of the Millennium Falcon ride?

Considering the lack of space there I'd say they should go with a Ghostbusters themed Tower of Terror.

A while back Universal filed a patent for a stacked dark ride that could be ideal for the Simpsons plot:

But if they wanted to do a more traditional type ride in that plot, maybe something like Midway Mania?

I think if you want a true E ticket in that space you have to build up. A Ghostbusters themed drop tower ride could be phenomenal. With that said, Universal could probably use something family friendly but not another screen ride. I guess they could do something like a Trolls D ticket dark ride there or something.

A stacked dark ride sounds like it could be pretty cool.

The Simpsons building is going to come down no matter what. The foundation is in pretty rough shape.
Well that plot of land did have a lot of rock slides.

Yeah, BSG could work, its tone does fit Universal pretty well, plus the IP is owned by Universal outright.

A few shots from HHN. The best mazes were Ghostbusters and the non-ip zombie maze. A Quite Place was the a little boring while girl monster maze seemed a little understaffed. Not much happen in that maze. For the most part, it was a lot of walking but the Terror Tram was much better than last year. Late Night with Chucky let you ask questions of the killer doll.
