More people are saying that FL redo is a go so heres a list of the rumors:

-Little Mermaid clone (This is a given)
-Barnstormer replaced with Snow White Minecart overlay (similar to what is being done over at DCA)
-Some of the c-tickets (Mad Tea Party, Dumbo, Carousel) will get moved around.
-Courtyard redesigned
-Removal of 1950s carnivale fair look
-Updates to exisiting attractions (RFID, Disneyland style refurbs, etc.)
-New enchanted forest theme replacing Mickey's Toontown (will feature a Fairy meet & greet like DL has, maybe a new small show area, lots of meet & greets and one or two of the c-tickets may get moved here. Some of it is even rumored to be INDOORS!)
-Beauty & The beast darkride
- Leemac said one of the rides is supposedly going to be "really amazing if it gets greenlit" but he said it hasn't been leaked out yet.

My own thoughts:

-I would assume one of the new attractions is a Rapunzel darkride to promote the upcoming film.
-Will we see clones of classic Disney attractions finally making there debut at WDW after 30 years of waiting? (Pinniochio, Alice In Wonderland, Casey Jr., Storybook land?)

and the million dollar question...

-Since the Hatbox ghost is being restored, will Mr.Toad return as well???

So can I take this as an admission you were wrong about the MK?

:sohappy: This sounds like it could be the ultimate thing for the Magic Kingdom. Just two questions,

1.) Will there be two Snow White rides now or will the current one be removed?

2.) Pooh's Playful Spot??? What will happen.

1) No, the rumor is that the current snow white ride will be gutted and replaced with a Beauty & The beast dark ride and then the minecart coaster would serve as the new snow white ride for the land. Interesting thing to note is that Snow White wasn't even supposed to get an attraction at WDW. Walt and the imagineers had wanted an alternative slate of dark rides instead of clones of Snow/Peterpan/mr.toad. They wanted Sleeping Beauty/Mary Poppins/Sleepy Hollow.

2)I would imagine the pooh play area would be bulldozed to make room for the Little Mermaid's show building (the building for it is HUGE)

Sounds familiar to the 1980s renovation of DL's Fantasyland...otherwise, interesting rumors, Conundrum! Especially the forest-themed land. Though I do admit that I never heard of the Mine cart roller coaster rumor.
I still think that section of MK will be better if they can remove the Fair theme (Disneyland's Toontown).

So apperantly Skyway station has begun getting bulldozed. Disney seems to have taken an interest in the MK all of a sudden.

Oh and to be fair lets all remember Jim Hill was the first to break this story back in October. I know alot of people on differnet forums have given him ____*t over the years for "making stuff up" (although some people like Lee have stood up for him).

Interesting, I wonder if Disney will do anything with those original attractions. Disneyland has the Sleeping beauty castle walk through and it would be somewhat interesting if we got a form of that. (in other words, never happening)

As for pooh, I will be interested to see how the building looks considering it's size. I imagine the facade will reflect FL's new theming, whatever that may be.

That is a very good thing. MK hasn't gotten much attention for a long time. Hopefully this means Disney is aiming at perfecting some of the ruined elements and expanding on others.

If the coaster track is just the same with new cars then I will say "Blech!" to that change along with BatB which I will remain very skeptical of it's possible success until I see it in person.

I'm happy for everything else though.

This is the first I've heard that the Snow White Mine Train Coaster will be a retheming of the Barn Stormer. Can anyone else confirm that this is what's being considered? If so, will the track be lengthened?

Additionally, Jim Grain of Salt Hill suggested that the RFID system may involve such things as premium passes instead of it being linked to everything. It would then include video of your experiences a la Rip Ride and Rockit.

As much as I would love to see Toad return, I seriously doubt it will happen. I could, and would love to be wrong though...

Pinocchio and Alice in Wonderland would make good additions and I'd like to see them come, but I doubt those will be here either. BatB is a likely addition because it would be exclusive to FL and it's a great movie that is heavily underutilized in the parks. If the forest section is a go, then maybe we'll see a Sword in the Stone ride? Or better yet, a Black Cauldron ride?
