Sorry if this post seems random...I haven't posted in this thread in a while.

I wonder if it would be possible to have a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride for the UK Pavilion as an elaborate and fast dark ride that would go beyond what the DL and MK provided.

There is room for I believe, three more nations, possibly four if one were to demolish the "World Showplace".

World Showcase needs more of a variety...something new and fresh...I like the idea behind the Kim Possible Adventure...but it should have been IMO a timeless World Showcase spy or secret agent game with unique characters made specifically for WS that guests could interact with.

This is good. Real good.

Every pav. needs an attraction IMO. I was thinking they could put a walk through of Disney's A Christmas Carol every Christmas in the World Showplace but I like your idea better.

I think a wish list would be good. I'll start.

Canada--Log Flume themed to BB
UK--New high tech Mr Toad ride
France--Impressions of France updated, digitized and theater refurb
Morrocco--TBD
Japan--TBD
Italy--TBD
Germany--TBD

Japan - Bullet train
Italy - Boat ride through venice

Just a few rough thoughts. Although I'm sure they have been presented at one time or another.

In Morocco you can put an Aladdan Dark Ride. :shrug:

In Japan you can put that old Bullet Train idea or old Mt. Fuji coaster idea.

I am not sure in Italy or Germany.

I thought the invasion of characters in WS was one of the things most people were against? Not that I would mind character tie-ins, but isn't that right up there with Nemo in TLS or SSE for Dummies?

Oop's - I quickly googled German Mountains, and for some reason I saw the Matterhorn mentioned ... and it really doesn't matter, I'm an idiot.
I just went back and looked at why and it is because the word Matterhorn is German in origin. Actually, it might be a better fit for Italy as the Matterhorn has both a Swiss and Italian summit.

Sorry guys, noob mistake, my bad.

While it may look from the front that there is room for many attractions, the facilities backstage occupy a good chunk of land behind each country. While it may be possible in other countries to "make room", the only ones with sufficient enough land behind to build something good are Africa Outpost, Germany, Italy, Japan and Morocco. The largest attraction could be built behind Germany where there is the most land.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but originally Germany was supposed to have some sort of boat ride, wasn't it? I thought they even went as far as to put in the attraction doors, but it was killed last minute. If you pull up a satellite photo of it, their appears to be a show building behind the facade. Although I have no idea what it is used for.

Yes their was supposed to be a boat ride like in Mexico and Norway.

It is for me. The characters are fine...But adding a ride would be a bit much.

I agree,there should seriously have a restruant with regional favorites. It would make the America pavilion so much better. I think they have the room but if they don't they can just refurbish the Liberty Inn.

The AA is huge...But most might be taken up by the stage/theater.
