I agree! I was just thinking this last trip up. World Showcase doesn't really need anything like a roller coaster. What I'd like to see for the Showcase: a Gran Fiesta Tour-like gondola boat ride in Italy, a Maelstrom-like boat ride in Germany, and the bullet-train theater show for Japan. That would give WS a nice array of C to D ticket attractions, especially if Germany's Maelstrom like ride was a bit longer and more thrilling. :)

In Future World, give us a new Imagination, an updated Energy, and something new in Wonders of Life. As much as some might disagree, a roller-coaster like thrill ride would be good (providing it fits the EPCOT Center theme). That way, FW would have 3 thrill rides and overall, 5 E-tickets, 4 D-tickets, and a number of C-tickets, while at the same time giving WS some new experiences that both entertain and inform. Oh, and get rid of the clutter and finish the descent. A perfect Epcot! :)

I agree, I especially would like to see the bullet train in Japan.

Actually, I think that the ride sheds a bit more class onto Latin Culture and visits more places than in the movie (mostly because it IS a travelogue ride). I mean, c'mon! They had the WORST stereotypes in that movie.

Wait a sec...wasn't the original ERdT actually produced by a Mexican crew?

Well, still, they did have some pretty bad stereotypes in the ride. I feel that the ride is much more rounded in this newer refurb (things like the chef and other things that we don't usually associate with Mexico).

I'm sorry, what? I can't hear this thread over how insanely popular Gran Fiesta Tour is compared to El Rio, you're gonna' have to speak up...

The lines, though stupid, are accurate. Phonecians invented the first common alphabet, and Egypt had one of the earliest known tax systems.:brick::ROFLOL:

Damnit!:ROFLOL:

 No matter how wrong the lines might have been, Disney wouldn't change them for anything.

Well ok true they are correct, its just the implementation of them I guess and no ending.
Yep...Also the music in the area...With Irons music and Dench narration, the whole thing sounds much better.

 No matter how wrong the lines might have been, Disney wouldn't change them for anything.
Not necessarily ...They changed up the narr. a ton after SO's.
Oh dont forget the paperboy now facing a stupid wall. Or backdrop I should say. Whose bright idea was that Id like to know?

No, I'm pretty sure he's in working order. He speaks and he waves his paper so everything looks good. He just beeds to be turned about 90 degrees. I can understand why they placed him like they did, but in reality the whole set-up just looks odd. :brick:

Hmmm... could be. Might explain a lot. Whats wrong with his face? He made it through 25 years without a problem. Did the botox operation not go right or something? :veryconfu

Maybe the mold cracked...And knowing how long it takes to get things fixed at WDI...:lol:
